ources have noticed something peculiar out this part of the show... Enrique always chooses a "full-figured" girl. It appears that Enrique has been choosing these particular women ever since the first date of the concert tour.

Apparently Anna Kournikova flew into a raging fit when Enrique chose a blonde "Anna look-alike" from the crowd. She screamed and berated him in front of his crew, band, and backstage contest winners.

Ever since that date, Enrique's dance partners have been a little more "average American" than "Anna bombshell."

ENRIQUE BUYS ANNA 'FRIENDSHIP' RING

Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias has bought tennis star girlfriend Anna Kournikova an $85,000 friendship ring -- but insists the couple have no plans to marry.

The singing star hopes the ring will bring the couple even closer together in 2004, after he admitted to cheating on the beautiful sports star on numerous occasions in the last year.

He says, "I believe in settling down but I don't think you have to be married to someone to be in love with them. I just believe in being in love.

"It is hard to have a relationship when you are on the road. You need someone who is not jealous and trusts you very much. Anna and I have that understanding."

IGLESIAS AND KOURNIKOVA ENGAGED?

Pop idol Enrique Iglesias is reportedly engaged to his tennis star lover Anna Kournikova.

The Russian blonde flashed a $5.4 million diamond ring on her engagement finger as she strolled around Melbourne, Australia yesterday.

The hitmaker, 28, splashed out on the jewel -- from the world's biggest mine in Argyle, Western Australia -- in between his tour dates in the Antipodean country.

A friend of the couple told British tabloid the Daily Star, "His relationship with Anna has been a bit of a rollercoaster but they've always come back to each other.

"Now Enrique appears to have decided he wants to stick with Anna for good. Giving an Argyle diamond is really pushing the boat out. But he's saying he wants to settle down with Anna, even though no date for marriage has been arranged."

The handsome couple have been dating on and off since Kournikova starred in the singer's "Escape" video in 2002.

The sexy Russian is accompanying Enrique as he tours Australia -- and Enrique can't get enough of her.

The 28-year-old gushes, "When I'm with Anna, it's the best time of my life.

"She is a beautiful person inside and out. She's great, she's fun, she's adventurous, she's energetic, she's crazy and she's up for anything.

"She is athletic, which I think any guy that is into sports and doing crazy things loves.

"It's always cool to be with someone who is not prissy, and not afraid to break a nail."
