The New Year approaches. We have time to look back and reflect on the old and think about what we want to accomplish in the new. So what are your resolutions for the New Year? If you do not make them, share that also.

My resolution is to get out debt. I just got a promotion, a position which I will take on Jan 2nd. I have resolved to pay off credit cards and loans with every cent of my well deserved raise. it looks great on paper!! hope i can stick to it.

My resolutions. I want to actually lose 10 pounds and be in better health this year. My other resolution is to spend more time doing fun stuff with my kids. I want to go to the zoo more and do more arts and crafts. I also want to clean the dang garage.

I can't get to the gym, but I can make better choices and drink more water, do more walking ect. I lost 9 pounds this last year and kept it off, so I am on the home stretch.

Well, I have a gym membership and I use it... but, not as much as I should!
Instead of going one day a week, I want to try to commit to 3 days per week.

My New Years resolution....

to lighten up a little more and not take things so seriously.....

Ill try....but I cant make any promises...

Well....I guess that shoots down my resolution if I cant make any promises....

Okay...well I have no resolution.

Is that a bad thing?

I've resolved to stop making unreasonable resolutions.
In other words, to stop trying to defeat the spirit of

The Serenity Prayer

God grant me
the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the Courage to change the things I can and
the Wisdom to know the difference.

that Wisdom part is the toughie for me

And I've resolved to say "Happy New Year" to ME too ... and then follow my own directive

I think my New Year's resolution for this year will be to be a bit nicer to my sister-in-law. Of course, this resolution will probably be broken the first time she does something stupid this year

I will have to add that to my list too.

I am going to get more organized this year.

Read more books.

Sherry... I want to have 'read more books' as a resolution. But, if I do that, Heidi could leave me.
I read so much as it is... I'm surprised that I'm not single and all alone!

Just do your reading when she is asleep. That is when I read, so that I don't take away from my time with Ron.

Hey, I can't do that... because I have to get up early for work too.
If I did that, my amount of sleep would be lessened, drastically....
Besides, I could read for HOURS every single day.

Sounds like you need a job as a book reviewer.

Wish that I could find something like that... but, it sure wouldn't pay much, I bet.
