Washington Post-ABC News poll:

"President Bush's overall approval rating stands at 59 percent, the highest since August."

"The poll also shows greater confidence in Bush's handling of both Iraq and the economy. On Iraq, three in five (60 percent) said they approve of how he is dealing with events there, compared with 48 percent in mid-November, and 59 percent said the war was worth fighting, up six points in a week."

That there are people in the US who approve of their economy being 400 billion in debt, and that the Iraq war has cost 500 US lives, 10,000 brown people's lives, the scorn of the world, the crapping on of long-held alliances, the stirring up of Jihad, not to mention A BILLION DOLLARS A DAY, for mine is further proof why America should not rule the world.

Or maybe that's just me!

Ha!

My name is Curley Joe
I really like sand
I'd really like you all to know
My best friend is my hand

I try so hard to make a point
Though it really makes no sense
I think it's cause i hit my head
one too many times on the pavement

My mind is closed down to thought
My beliefs are my worst enemy
I tried to make this last line rhyme
But couldn't

LOL -- that was great. I'm going to copy you, but fail miserably in terms of funniness.

Hi my name is Controversial J
I spread my message in universal ways
Then one day when I was alone
I decided to try my luck in a poem

My socks always smell like a shoe
I can't even spell the word "heiku"
I'm not shakespear but that's ok
At least I'm alive and free still today

Why did I do t his? I haven't a clue!
I guess I didn't know what else to do!
The best part of this is the end
...It doesn't rhyme.

The sky really isn't falling.

KUWAIT (Reuters) - Gulf Arab leaders said Monday they had agreed on new measures to combat terrorism, including purging rhetoric from school textbooks that Washington says fuels anti-Christian and anti-Jewish sentiment.

I just have to chime in on this one.

Hi everyone, my name’s Crazy Joe
I think my name’s Curley and my best friend Moe
You can tell from my posts, my thoughts aren’t so great
Because in my head, there’s a hard metal plate

It causes me to post things, like “go pound sand”
Sometimes I’m not sure, so I post it again
At times it’s redundant, but that is ok
Cause I cannot remember, so what the hay

I’m on medication, but sometimes it fails
I cannot distinguish, what’s false and what’s real
So please don’t be angry, when I post “go pound sand”
Remember I’m not responsible, It’s the medication man!!!

There once was a poster named oneof peace
Who wished he lived in France, I think it was Nice
He tried and he tried to convince us he’s right
But to no avail he keeps trying as hard as he might

To convince us we’re wrong and to join the other side
But we see right through him and know that he’s lied

So keep up the typing from here to ever after,
Because it’s always a joy to read your ranting with laughter

Whenever I type the capital letter b, I get thrown onto a page that says I don't have permission to post on In review.

Anyone with any sense know this was done by some pro war person, a mod no doubt to silence my opposition to the war and bush.

This is more indication of how far the right will go to dictate their will upon everyone.

Although you don't think its right for me to express my consitutional right to free speech here, it's obvious in your support for bush.

I have reported this in hopes that you will not get away with it. This shows you how desperate some people are to silence those who dare ask why and impose their will on anyone they choose.

LMAO @ all of you... You guys are hilarious.... you've resorted to writing poems about each other... a far better than the insults I am used to reading.

You guys really need to keep you day or night jobs...those of you who actually work (that is)...lol And the poets that have day or night jobs, I hope you don't lose them because you definetely won't make any money as a poet...lol

You guys are "over the top" and truly need to get a life.

Happy Holidays to everyone. I am sure I will see you on "in Review" all day today, christmas eve(tomorow) and certainly all day Christmas for those who are off...LMAO

Yeah Skool, but did you see USA's tired a$$ attempt at a poem?

You can see why he's a little off base too. He's nothing but a follower though. Incapable of any real independant thought so it would seem.

At any rate, those that say Bush is telling the truth and see the man searching for anything to link Saddam is saying I'm not attached to reality. That is hilarious.

Man this group of neenkinpoops are funny!!!!

Well Peace, ya gotta point...lol "Followers"are funnier than the deranged "leaders"... but in the big picture, the Pro Bush Jokers are brainless followers also...lol

If Bush is telling the truth then there wasn't a quake in L.A. yesterday...lol

Man... what a group to deal with. The intelligence of a pea...lol If I only our woman knew what we had to deal with...lol Almost as bad as dealing with women in general...lol

Hey Peace? Ya think any of these cats are women????? LOL

Don't knock yourself out over these "neenkinpoops" but hold your ground...lol

peace,
You have only one thought process and it's in a rut.
Some day you will look back at this and MAYBE relalize what an idiot you've made of yourself. I am positive that every rant that you have posted will be confirmaed as jsut that, ranting. You have no real prrof of any of you postings and resort to wishful thinking with hopes soemone may agree with you. Have you noticed? Most are from other countries. You are a minority in you wishes.
You continue to degrade the country our soldiers our efforts. Your continuous support of everything against this country and it's government.
You continue to avoid valid questions and post only out of context quips to support your dillusion thought.
You are a follower of your own biased imagination.
You have no proof to support any of your postings.
I am willing to bet that you have NEVER voted. Right? You are too stupid to come up with anything on your own.
Have a great Holiday and don't forget your duct tape and drinking water.

Also:

55% of Americans would vote for Bush.
37% of Americans would vote for Dean.

Where do you all come from, did ya get of the same boat?

We'll see Crazy Joe what happens next year. As for USA, you think I'm in a rut huh? You believe your ears instead of your eyes. I don't know how you made it through life this far. We'll see who looks back some day.

Mr J is self explanatory.

What a group if dimwitts. Sometimes I don't know why I even bother with closed minded baised idiots. I use to think better of USA, but after he's been hanging with these two, I see I gave him too much credit.

What a bunch of neekinpoops!!!!

Hi fun seekers. Is 59% an overwhelming mandate? On a school report thats a D- if not an E. Wow! Then again that's 10% more than he got in the popular vote. Oh well, time to get a 40oz. and go on high alert.
