I have LotR monopoly.... we played it last week!!!
Makes it more interesting... buying up places around Middle Earth!

I am thinking about getting the LotR trivial pursuit.
Of course, if I played trivial pursuit with fuscia, she would kill me....
she knows it all. (Wouldn't have anything to do with reading the book like 8 times in 2 years would it?)

I have both monopoly and trivial pursuit of lotr, but i think the best "alternate" classic game would be Middle-Earth Risk. We play it, like, once or twice a day!

Delia I have to agree with you, that version of Risk is mind blowing! I found both the LOTR monopoly and Trivial Pursuit at the Toys-R-Us by my house...... but yes they WERE expensive MFZZ3!!! Wait until the hype dies down then the prices will drop, only bad thing is that they only make a certain amount to keep it in the collectible category.............
