I have just started doing Atkins and I was only going to stay on a couple of weeks until I could get into a dress to go to a wedding. I am diabetic and along the way I discovered that my blood sugar levels have never been so low and I have never used so little insulin in over 20 years! They are so great that I am afraid to exercise because I do not know how I would get my levels back up in a hurry without eating carbs. Are there any other insulin dependents out there who are doing this successfully that could give me any advice. I have lost 18 lbs and I am not hungry so I am not ready to give up. |
