I know everyone is saying how hot Viggo and Orlando are. They are definately hot. But no one has mentioned how good looking the hobbits are. Elijah Wood is gorgeous. He is a couple years younger than me, but I still think he's beautiful. Those eyes. I can't believe he was little Nat Cooper from that Mel Gibson movie! And Sean Astin! I've had a crush on him ever since I saw him in Goonies when I was a little girl. The guys that play Merry and Pippin are cute too. Especially Pippin.

Sean Bean is gorgeous too. Very dark and brooding like Viggo.

Any opinions from the ladies out there? (or men if appropriate)

i know this girl who is an insane fan of Elijah. she also likes Andy Roddick the tennis player.

Why is Elijah overlooked when talking about hotties. Everyone talks about Orlando and Viggo. Elijah is just as hot!

viggo looks pretty cool in his kingly garb, but i think faramir looks the best of all the men in the movie. (from a guy's perspective) just slightly edging out viggo.

Nope. He looks very young. I personally just am not into the looks of any of the hobbits. Not my type.

Viggo is just incredible! I think Karl Urban looks very nice as well. I wouldn't kick Orlando out either, but Viggo is tha' man!

I am not at all attracted to any of the hobbits. I think they seem to be great guys but if we are talking about physical attraction - I have none for any of them. If I had to pick one, I'd go with Billy Boyd just because he is quite funny in all of his interviews and I love a good sense of humor.

Did anyone see this week's Entertainment Weekly. Aragorn and Frodo are on the cover, and inside the magazine there is a picture with Peter Jackson, Arwen, Aragorn, Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin, Gandalf, and Legalas. And they all look good. Well, except for Peter Jackson. He could've at least combed his hair for the picture.

That was a cute picture! hee hee! I don't like Liv's dress though. and about the elijah thing, he looks alot younger then he really is... I wouldn't say he is hot, but he is cute, especially his eyes. He looked better when he wasn't trying to look like Justin Timberlake or whatever he's trying to do. Dom and Billy and Viggo and Orli are the handsome ones! you go boys!

I didn't like Liv's dress either. Everybody is really casual and she has that "too fancy" dress on. I liked Elijah in the photo. I don't think that he looks like Justin at all. I didn't like Viggo in the photo though. He looks like an old man in that photo. Orlando looked really good. I think he is a good looking man, but I don't think he looks good as an elf.

Elijah is just drop dead gorgeous! *check out the piercing blue eyes* cutie. Orlando Bloom's okay... i like him better as an elf, actually. :P Gollum is VERY sex-c!! :P jks! lol. Sean Astin's pretty cute too and I like Billy Boyd. MY GOD!! Whoever saw the last movie has had to have heard Billy sing omg he's got such a beautiful voice!! :'( *cry* soooo good. :P

I loved his song. His voice went so well with what I expected a Hobbit to sound like.

Billy is an awsome singer... when I first got the rotk soundtrack on the day it came out, I looked at the song list and it said "featuring Billy Boyd" and so I had to go straight to it... he's so cute! I love his voice. He plays the guitar too I think. Elijah does have pretty eyes, but he needs to shave because he can't grow more then like 3 facial hairs!

I know! I have this picure of him in an article and I think it's the worst picture I've ever seen of him! he has a few sparse hairs and then his eyes are all red and watery and he has this wierd expression on his face... It frightens me. PLEASE SHAVE ELIJAH!!!!!

i too like Billy's song...it is indeed very good, and fits well in the movie...i love how his song unnerves denethor.

I love how he says "we have no songs for great halls and... Evil times." and he sort of emphysizes the word evil and looks at Denethor with disgust. I think he's half disgusted by the way denthor is eating and half wishing he was eating it... it must be so hard for a hobbit to watch another eat and not be able to eat also. poor pip.

That was so gross the way Denthor ate everything. The song was such a haunting and beautiful part of the movie.

i wonder if it was absolutely neccessary for them to show denethors bad table manners?

I did not picture him to have such atrocious manners. I was very shocked by that portrayal.

I think it is disgusting! especially when he has the blood or wine or whatever it is dripping down is chin. that and the exploding tomatoe. *shudder* poor pip had to witness it.

yeah...but he wasn't that way in the book....he wasn't really that greedy either...he was just used to his family being in charge, and he wanted to protect his people...unless that was boromir's view and Denethor really was a disgusting greedy pig...i'll have to look at his character again.

lol. I felt so sorry for Faramir when I read the book, and I think they pulled off the relationship between Faramir and Denethor well.

I love it...Billy does such a good job with his acting! he puts so much meaning in that scene! You can tell exactly what he's thinking of Denethor... and I agree with you, he is disgusted at the way he treated his own son, and sent him and his men off to certain death in osgiliath

yeah...though actually...Faramir was smitten by a dart from the Nazgul, when they attacked him as he was retreating...agian.

ya I know... but it actually wasn't from the nazgul as I recall... I think it was from one of the southrons wasn't it? I'll go check

hmmm...you know..you may very well be right...though Faramir was struck down with the Black Breath. (fear induced fever from the Nazgul)

here's what it says exactly...

I can't decide... the first time I read it I thought it was just from one of the southrons... but now I'm not so sure...

yeah...its a Nazgul dart then. thats what it seems to imply.

i mean...i can't think of any other way for Faramir to have been touched with the black breath....

that's a good point... I was disappointed that they didn't have the house of healing in the movie... it will be in the EE though right? I think I saw a picture somewhere or Aragorn healing eowyn. and another thing.. why did Merry go along to the black gate? and who is the man bearing the standard of Gondor outside the gate when they ride up?

I haven't seen RotK yet, but my guess would be it is Imrahil Prince of Dol Amroth who bears the banner of Gondor.

that's a good guess... but I think they should have actually had him in the movie if he goes up to the gate...
