Do we agree we're better off? |
| Posted by: fred hooper | | I see most people agree that we're better off Saddam's regime is goners & so do many Iraqis to the ME. Yes? I do anyway.
Point is, what made this reality is coaltion action to liberate Iraq through a quick war. Definately not UN/Western European weakness & appeasement or hand held anti war rallies through city streets.
We all know this was the only way so live with it. You can flash communist made banners saying "No War, Just Peace" all you like and debate in the UN secutiry council for years. It does nothing to improve a situation like that, just fulfills oneselfs wild fetishes.
Who really cares now anyway. Its all over so we all want Iraq to get better in da future. Whats done is done & we're better off. Quite simple.

Exactly, Fred! What is done is done. But left-wingers and anti-U.S.-ers will never agknowledge what has been accomplished—never!
They're irrelevant—so let 'em go pound sand!

| Posted by: fred hooper | | Yes CJ, I sometimes get the feeling they're really more interested in proving a point about something than a better future Iraq. Tell me I'm crazy? I can't understand some peoples morals when its comes to this.

| Posted by: ryanvii | | How are we better off? We caught Saddam, big deal, it hasn't improved the condition of soldiers in Iraq.
And forgive us "Commies" for wanting to talk out a situation before going full bore into a war that the current administration has no plan of getting out of.
The only thing President Bush's administration has improved is the defecit. | | Reply To this Message

Well, a nation is in a state of despair. A nation is in anarchy. A nation has decended into a place whereby people cannot leave their homes at night. Daily shootings, bombings, violence. Then again, at least they have the "freedom" to bear arms. I mean, that is obviously a great thing. They can be just like America, whereby they are scared of sending their kids to school without fear of school shootings. Ahhh, what a great thing to be "free", (which obviously means being able to own an AK47).
On the bright side though, at least now the Iraqi children will stop being brutally killed by the US sanctions. After all, what is the point in imposing sanctions upon a nation you control?
Don't you just love the American idea of "democracy"?

| Posted by: Controversial J | | Curley - Does your love of "pounding sand" have anything to do with the sand between your ears? The fact that you include that saying in every single post you make shows your lack of an open mind. Anyone without an open mind is not entitled to a credible opinion. How about "Go fly a kite" or perhaps something original like "Go produce an up and down motion on a small object bearing characteristics of their much larger brothers... rocks". | | Reply To this Message

I absolutely love this post! Thanks, scott! This post is one of the best examples of the mind-workings of the ultimate anti-U.S. propagandist. I think I will open a new thread to show it off! This should be read carefully and often. As it is text-book propaganda and spin! Thoroughly transparent and at the same time an excellent example of a wasted mind!

Sometimes I just sit and look at the nonsense coming from these pro-war supporters. They honestly believe now that the US is safer for invading Iraq.
I'm totally convinced that Crazy Joe is AmeriKOOK. Same ole M.O. same ole empty argument, same ole rhetorical postings. Either that, or he has a brother somewhere he knows nothing about | | Reply To this Message
