At the end, Frodo does go to a place called the Grey Havens, which is basically a shipyard. But, contrary to the things I've read on here, the Grey Havens is not his final destination...I guess you people just haven't read the books...
Frodo, along with the rest of the Fellowship(plus Elrond and Galadriel, among others), go to the Grey Havens, where Cirdan the Shipwright awaits them with a ship that will sail them to Aman, the Land of the Gods/Valar. There Frodo will basically live "happily ever after" until the end of time. Without getting into too much detail, that's about it...Hope it helps!
