If you are lucky enough to have watched the movie, tell us how you liked it.

I thought it was very good. I don't know if I liked the second one better or not. Keep in mind, however, I am not a huge LOTR in the first place.

I don't want to giveaway too much, but sometimes tidy endings aren't all that they're cracked up to be. At least everything was tied up though. Like I said in another post, I seriously thought the movie was over for like 30 minutes.

I feel that some plot points were forced or the significance was somewhat lost since it spanned three movies.

The action scenes were awesome, which is on par for the series. The fight scenes (or scene, since 75% of the movie was a battle, it seemed) were spectacular.

I really didn't expect anything in particular so I wasn't let down. However, I would have liked to see more/less of certain characters.

The movie was very well done from nearly every aspect behind the camera. Hopefully Peter Jackson gets something for his direction.

A nice end to the trilogy... when it finally ended.

I saw it last week at the sneek preview and loved it. Long of course.. but can be expected. Will be going to see it again tonight. The ending was drawn out as much as posible. You could tell Jackson was getting depressed that the trilogy was ending. LOL
He did take some dramatic license but again to be expected.
Sad that Frodo couldnt stay at the shire.

It was pretty good. The first hour of the movie is amazing! At this point i thought it would be my favorite of the three, but as the end drew near it became clear Jackson wasn't sure how to bring the trilogy to a close. I loved the books, and the die harders are gonna kill me for this, but i think Jackson should have taken some liberty with the ending to make it the trilogy go out with a bang and not a whimper. The part following the climax dragged a bit, and featured a ton of dramatic goodbyes that took entirely too long. I wish Jackson would have wrapped it up more quickly, but other than that it was good. The first movie, however, is still my favorite.

are you kidding me? did u want it to end like the matrix revolutions? No one really knows what happend and there questions will never be answeard?

The ending to Return of the King was great. It explained EVERYTHING and what happend to everyone.


besides how else are you spose to end the greatist movies of all time???

I LOVED THE MOVIE!!! it was awsome! i must see it again!! the battles were awsome, and the special effects were beyond belief. i really liked the ending, even if they didn't have the scouring of the shire.

I liked it alot. but out of the 3 i would rate it the 3rd
