One year my mom decided to put her huge fake tree in the corner. Well, her cat Abby Tabby decided to make a nest under the tree. You would see this paw shoot out and grab things. Half the boxes were dented in that year. Nothing was ruined, but it was dangerous to try to take them out from under the tree. When all the presents were gone, we found about 6 balls, 3 fur mice and a dozen chewed up ribbons. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: chelktty | | My brother-in-law didn't listen when my sister told him to anchor their huge tree to the wall. My nieces were really little and hung most of their ornaments on the bottom front branches of the tree. Later that evening my sister and I were in the kitchen when we heard this gigantic CRASH! Fortunately no one was injured, although the girls were quite shaken up. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Alpha&Omega | | My grandmother decided to put uo a fake tree for Christmas.
she had me and my brother try and put it together.
After what seem like hours... no succcess on the pittaful thing.
finally, we decided to get a real tree. We were lucky because the tree had an abandoned bird's nest in it. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Pulse | | When my brother was a baby, my mother had put him in the walker and every time he went by the Christmas tree, he would grab it. He ended up pulling the tree completely down that year and my mother had to put up an artificial tree. The funny thing about it was that she had to put the tree up in the middle of the play pin to protect it against my brother. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Pulse | | A couple of years ago, I had a baby Iguana. She wan't very big at all. She was just a bit bigger than a large yard lizard. Anyway, I had taken her out of her cage and was walking around the house with her on my shoulder. I can't remember how she got lose in the house, but I thought that she had run up the Christmas tree because we had a tree in the middle of the house and Iguanas are mainly tree dwelling creatures. My brother and I must have searched for her in that tree for close to half the night and we never found her. It wasn't until we stopped looking for her that my brother actually found her. He didn't find her in the Christmas tree though. He found her sitting on my mother's decorative broom in the corner in the hallway. I can't begin to say how relieved I was to find out that she was not in the Christmas tree. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: fuscia | | Too cute Pulse. I had a hamster named Tinkerbell when I was growing up. She would escape all the time. We thought she was in the tree one year, but she was sitting in my dad's Spanish Armada type ship looking out at us. | | Reply To this Message
