| I think that the show was entertaining and simply reinforced what we all know---good looks trump everything else!
I still can't get over Melana's blatant hypocrisy. In the episode where she pretends to be her overweight cousin "Danielle", she is appalled when men won't stop on the street to give her directions. How much time do you think she would have given the poor saps on this show if she wasn't getting paid?
Despite her protestations, she went with the better looking guys right down the line. Zach had no redeeming qualities other than being the best looking in a bad lot. When prettier guys were thrown into the mix, Melana suddenly got over her "crush" on him.
The person whom I felt the worst for was John, because he obviously got sucked into believing that it was possible for a beautiful woman to see beyond looks. The obvious moral of this show is that no matter how nice, smart, successful or intelligent you may be, you shouldn't fool yourself into thinking that you have a shot with a cheerleader---unless you're "hot". | |
