All I have to say is Thank G0d I didnt watch this show from the beginning. I would be pissed to hell. However, yesterday I watched the 2 hour finally and was upset at the end.

I am married but I think that Adam is not average he has such a sweet face. Once someone opens their mouth is when they are attractive or not. What is in ones heart is what makes you beautiful.

Adam is lucky! Now he is going to be the most popular guy in NY. He now knows that she is not ready for a relationship and has his feeling spared. I am just thinking would I date someone who lives with their parents? who is a bartender? Unless I really didn't feel anything for the other person. However, if I feel something for 1 person would I be kissing another?

I live in NY...trust me he is not going to be popular, if anyone recognizes him and watched the show they will realize what a phoney he is and girls would not be attracted to his "money" or the pathetic embarrassing way he acted on that show. I think the fact that everyone brings up his money just proves why you are all hypocrites....dating someone for their money is even more shallow then for their looks

Listen $$ is something that people with $$ flaunt and are afraid to loose. Some like the power of $$. Others are afraid what the consequences of dating someone who has $$. I am married and I didnt care how much my husband earned, because thank G0d I have 2 feet and 2 hands and can work.

Not as bad but he's one of those New York guido types and i'm sure he thinks he's like a bigshot just look at the way he showed off his bar and his office and how he trades millions of dollars a day. Regardless, the guy is pathetic is all i'm saying and i dont know why people like him so much.

He showed off his stuff... so what? He's a successful millionaire. Good for him. Adam isn't pathetic. Jason isn't pathetic. Melana is pathetic for being hypocritical. Wonder how tired she'll be of picking Jason up at mom & dad's on their way out.

If I were a girl, I'd be totally enamored with Adam and I'd love to date him. I think nothing of Jason. Adam poured his heart out to Melana. I watched every show and she was way more phony than Adam.

I think that he hit it on the nail on the date in NY when he is about to give her a kiss and she is thinking of someone else... that was a big clue from her of what she was feeling, but then laster she tells him that she is not thinking of Jason on the 2nd.

Listen we are judging her but she made the choice she wanted to. She likes Jason. I am just shocked how someone could like a guy who is 26 lives with mom/dad and is working as a bartender and tried to get me drunk.

My husband lived with his mom back when we were dating and it was ok...but now I see it completely different its not ok.

Adam was not an a$$hole. He was by far one of the more kinder men in the competition.

He never once talked about his wealth to her prior to the last episode. He took her to his place to show her HIS life. Was he to disregard his ability to fund a dinner experience of greater quality than a trip to McDonalds? She was bound to find out about his money one way or another.

I think that she intended to pick Jason all along and just made
it "look like" she was considering Adam, so she did not look too
bad on national tv. The bottom line here is that no matter what
Jason did for a living or who he was, he was bound to be the
last man standing because in her mind he was "HOT" and that
was all that mattered.

I gotta agree with ol' ginger snap. I wouldn't doubt it if she had a clause in her contract that stipulated that she have an "average joe" and one of the ringers in the final. Otherwise, she might have picked both ringers. After all, Adam may have been insecure, but he had the other qualities that chicks dig...money, power, status...Unfortunately, Jason possessed the one thing that chicks ultimately dig...good looks. Who cares if you live at home? You look hot! While he was a 26 yo waiter/student...did you notice his "place" (parent's place) on their hometown date? It looked like a decent ranch in California. So the handsome guy had a good excuse for being a 26 yo college student living at home. Mom and dad pay for everything!!! I've known plenty of those types. We call them slackers that can rely on parental money. Maybe Malena saw that as a good sign. Jason wasn't the poor, starving, putting himself through college waiting tables handsome devil that he was portrayed as. Hell, Paris Hilton didn't make it past sixth grade, but look at her future...At least Adam made some money on his own (or so it looked). Oh well...Here's to Average Joe2

I disagree with you. Not all girls judge men by looks. I never did. I always judged by what the person said and did not how he looked.

I recall one date, the guy was dead drop gorgeous. We met at my brothers wedding. My friends (4 of us) who attended the wedding all wanted to meet him. He was so attractive and it appeared he had a lot of things going for him carreer, education, good family...

Well he called me a few weeks after the wedding and we began to get to know each other and went on a date. We went to the MOM (Museum of modern art)... He was even trying to be romantic recommended to go ice skating at Rockefeler Center.
I was so depressed after the date, i remember crying home. He was such a bore.

why is almost everyone bashing this girl for choosing the guy she liked more?????? i only caught the last show and it seemed like that dude adam tried to buy her affection ie. victoria secrets, burnt bear. i'm kind of surprised he didn't pull out jewelry. plus it probably didn't help when he freaked out in the limo. they were on the tonight show and the happy couple are still together.

no mater what the out come was, this was a no win situation for the girl, if she chooses the rich guy shes a golddigger and if she chooses the poor guy shes shallow.

I totally agree that looks are not everything, but it certainly does help. Noone wants to be with anyone that they are not physically attracted too, but the reason that the first hunk was elimanated was because he was dumb. It did not matter what he looked like he had nothing else to offer.

Adam, in my opinion, though had it all. His personality, by far, superseded any of the qualities of the other guys. So what if he wigged out in the limo. What would you do if you were dating a girl for 5 weeks and were about to kiss her and she started talking about another guy. It would piss anyone off. Reality show or not, he had feelings for the girl. I was really upset for him when she did not pick him. I just didnt feel as though Jason had anything to offer. To me his looks were not even that great. I wondered if he actually liked men or what?

I had a strong feeling that Jason was a player and can't get that
out of my mind. I think he wanted to win and that was the bottom line and he would say or do anything to get there. I felt
bad for Adam, but I have to say, his reaction was a class act,
he looked shocked and then he regained his composure and
wished them well. She on the other hand didn't look all that sad
to pick Jason and break Adams heart, she had that stupid little
smile on her face. I think they deserve each other and whatever
happens, happens. Adam on the other hand, should go on and
he will find someone who appreciates him. I imagine its really
hard to be on that show or any of the other ones for that matter,
but like with Bob on the Bachelor, you could tell he genuinally felt
bad when he had to choose, I didn't get that feeling with Melana.
And I really felt she led Adam on, made it look like she really liked
him and then squashed him like a ant in the end, that whole limo
thing was really unsensitive of her. Her and Jason probably won't
last anyway, those reality shows don't have the best track record to say the least, just read tonight that Andrew Firestone
and Jen broke up, I imagine Bob and Estella or Melana and Jason
will be next.

I too am glad I did not watch this show from the beginning? Wasn't this show supposed to be about the average Joe? So why did they bring in the hotties? To rub it in the average Joes faces that the better looking guy is the better guy? That the nice guy finishes last? Next time they do a show like this, stick with the theme!

I only watched the last episode & fell for adam right away. I didn't like the fact that Jason tried to get Melena drunk to lower he inhibitions. If it it was just to loosen her up & not take advantage of her he still tried to do it on the sly. I know kindof how adam feels. I was seeing a guy for alittle over 6 months. He met one of my friends (very pretty, thin girl) and started dating her and dropped me (average looking, chubby girl) in a heartbeat. It hurts the same no image someone doing that on national tv. I feel for adam.
