You have got to be kidding me. How could she choose some one who wants to get her drunk to loosen her up? Adam 1. made a menu of special events 2. wrote a poem 3. put a room full of flowers 4. bought her gifts (and burned them a little) 5. Danced with her. If she can not see how much he put into her and did not expect the show to do it all she is the whore we all thought she was. What did Jason do that inspired her. Did the fumes from all the gel in his hair inspire her. Did living with mom and dad inspire her to move back home. She is not the honest person she said she was. She told Adam how she wanted to move to New York. Did she want to get a job at Scores? I am sorry but Zach's jokes about "fat" were funny. Have a sense of humore Malena! This show proved what it intended. At the final decision she said thatHow could you resist his (Jason's) eyes and how she was physically attracted to him. There was nothing about how well he treated her or how good of a person he was. She is a pure beauty that I think should have her face on the toad. Because after this I think she is UGLY. How could she be proud of anything she did. I feel better getting this off my chest.

Goes to prove....the beautiful people always win. Or do they? I think Adam is better off with out that shallow twerp. I'm sure after this show Mr. Adam will have no problem finding a life long love and mate.

Adam is much better off. It took this decision to show Malena's true colors ... and how badly he was wasting his time.

Adam is silly if he's not out partying on the town with his buddies back home cheers'ing Malena for saving him a witless life of boredom by her side.

she is as shallow as Jason. Un F'n believeable!

The guy lives at home with his parents, can't have a meaningful conversation, tried the old-alcohol- to loosen her up, and didn't do a single nice/thoughtful/sincere thing on any date.

She was upset with Zak over his remarks - pure guy talk anyway- and yet she does a 180 on her own remarks.

The 'nerds - average- whatever' never had a chance it turns out.

Ummm.... so she totally sucks because yeah that jason guy is cute and all but he like can't even form a coherent sentence and what is she thinking passing up that adam guy's money! I mean she could totally go on major shopping sprees in NYC and we all know they have the BEST stores there! So what if Adam is ugly at least she'd have the money to comfort her when his face makes her puke. I am glad I am so above her level!

One thing she said about her decision making process that was interesting was that Jason and her were about on the same "reciprocative" level, while Adam was above her level. Meaning, Adam liked her more than she liked him, but Jason and her had about the same level of feelings toward each other.

Most guys who treat women like crap do very well. Hey - she even had a crush on Zach! Maybe if Adam tried to get her drunk or made some lewd moves he would have been more successful? The female mind is screwed up! And how long did it take Melana and Jason to figure out they were playing checkers without both being on the same color squares?!!

But did she really have any choice - i think the network wanted it to end like this.

Is it really a coincendence that most of the real "average joes" were got rid of weeks ago.

And for NBC to say they didnt know Adam was a millionaire - rubbish - every contestnat would have been carefully vetted before being accepted.

One other point is that I notice on the credits there is a writer for the show - why does a reality tv show need a writer ?

But anyway she should have gone for Adam -the word fix springs to mind.

Adam is so much better off without the shallow wench. Jason is a nice guy... it would seem... but inspiring? Inspired Melana to pleasure herself to his image? PLEASE.

Adam isn't ugly, and rich, and sweet, and caring. He poured his heart out to her. Melana Skanklin, I mean, Scantlin is purely shallow and not worth Adam's time. I'm sure he'll end up with some ultra-hottie after exposing himself and his wealth on TV who isn't so stupid and shallow.

Judge Judy has a book entitled Beauty Fades, but Dumb is Forever.....that pretty much sums up what I see in Melana's future.

I felt really bad for Adam and I still do. He was so committed to making Melana happy because he loved her that much. What happens? She goes for the pretty boy who lives with mommy and daddy. How old is this kid again?! 27 or something?? and is going to COLLEGE?! I have to admit, that's pretty damn sad. I so knew it would end like that. Now this new Average Joe with the girl Larissa, she's just as bad I think. I hate these chicks who think they're all that and can toy with peoples' emotions. Totally makes me mad and feel bad for those guys. -sigh- I'm sorry, I needed to vent.
