I have seen the show a couple of times and I thought NBC was actually gonna make her pick from one of their guys. But of course, they had to give her some hotties to help weed out the other guys.
Then you get to the last 2 guys: one "average guy" worth millions of dollars and has VERY much succeeded in life; and the "hot guy" who still lives with his parents, is still in school, and basically has no pot to pee in. So who did "I love them both VERY much!" (liar) pick? Well, at least we know she's only superficial, and not a gold-digger.

Did you see the previews for the AVERAGE JOE 2? Lil' Miss Supermodel looked REALLY happy when she saw the guys hop off of the (short) bus. But again, NBC to the ratings rescue, she gets saved by a bunch of prima donnas so again AVERAGE JOE will be just be a televised version of high school for most of these guys. The "pretty boys" will establish dominance over the "real guys" and establish budding relationships (yeah, right) with MS SUPERFICIAL and she'll take out/send home most to all of the "real guys", and then you have a "pretty boy vs pretty boy" SUPER-POSEDOWN at the end OR you get the same thing this time around. Proving again that:
1) Beauty is only skin deep, but youre superficial and/or matierialistic to the bone
AND
2) You can take a reality to pretty people, but you can't make them take reality to heart.

like the shirt says: pretty people SUCK

this miss priss actually had me thinking she might have more sense than she ended up showing in the end.I cannot believe that she picked that schoolboy over a TRUE GENTLEMAN !!!! not to mention obviously a self made RICH,RICH man !!!! that man deserves a million times better woman that knows how to be grateful and blessed to have someone love her like that.my money is on him being choosen as the new bacherlor. sent by grannie kisses in south carolina

Once again teaching 99% of the population of America that you should always pick the no personality loser "stud" over the charming successful average guy. Luckily there probably isnt 1% of america that actually watches this show, im ashamed for even watching the final episode, knowing that this woman is in no way smart enough to make the right decision.

After that result, I'm done with these pathetic shows. What a waste of time.

I really dug this show - what a huge disappointment. At least we all know now to watch out for the over-repititious editing patterns they use in these dating shows. They build 'em up big only to slam 'em down in the end.

Will not watch the next one..it looks ridiculous. I def. think Adam is better off and hope that he finds someone he really deserves.

The ending was definitely a huge letdown. They almost had me fooled into thinking she would pick the average joe. But apparently, she was "inspired" by pretty boy.

To be perfectly honest though, I'm not sure the title "average joe" was very fitting for the losing contestant. He seemed anything but average. At the very least, I'm sure he'll have no trouble meeting eligible ladies now. Perhaps in the end, that makes him the winner.

A few months ago my wife and I moved our main TV out of the house because I(get it) felt so stupid at letting network TV have any quality time in my life to pollute with crap like this. BOY WAS I RIGHT...What a "REALITY" check!

Time to move the little one next to the treadmill out also. Can you believe we are all spending time on this worthless crap...makes you feel as dumb as "the little cheerleader" on this show. I am seriously thinking we should all start an NBC boycott.

This new relationship between Melana and Jason will never last because it's all based on physical attraction. Believe me, this whole "living with mommy and daddy" situation will get old, and after she's bored with making out with Jason all day long (which is all that they seem to do on their dates) there will be nothing left for her to do with him because he can't even hold a basic conversation, much less than string more than 3 words together. Jason even seems like the type who would cheat on her anyway, so in any case, she'll end up alone. Adam was the real winner here, he had a soul as beautiful as his personality, and that's 1000 X better than anything Jason has to offer!

the whole idea of average joe is degrading and many parts of it including the end leaves you with a bad feeling. NBC, I didn't watch any of the prolonged commercials.

Dang... Jason really is the Average Joe isn't he.... living at home, decent looking for sure, but nothing really to his name besides "student/waiter". Adam is far from average... pretty good looking but not knockout, millionaire, entrepreneur... his time is not worth of Melana the idiot.

Never been a fan of reality TV. Got hooked by the first AJ show when Iwe got to see M's face fall to the floor as the AJs stepped off the bus. Did it surprise anyone that the first guys to go were the "Big and Tall" crew? And then she goes and rips Zach for speaking his mind about her "fat" cousin. Given all that I confess to still being taken with her, as was Adam, and he didn't have the insight we all did. Maybe we're all shallow Hal's but need this cold dash of water in the face to remind us of how "programmed" we are to the "prettiness" of life. Even a soft drink reminds us that 'image is everything'. How many Average Joe's and Jane's do we get to see on the great electronic pacifier? Basically none. Just as most of us feel compelled to slow down and look at the accident on the highway, we are drawn to the visual stimulii of very pretty and to an equal extent very ugly. Is there any hope for us? I wanted M to pick Adam. He made her laugh. Most women state almost emphatically that a sense of humour is very, very high on the intangible list - physical chemistry is important albeit - and who are we to begrudge M's personal feelings on her primal desires and urges. Too bad for her that, like most men are accused - she thought with her little head, much less her big head and least of all her heart. Congratulations to Adam for showing us all how to be classy and respectful even in the midst of that disappointment. I don't really give a rat's ass if M and J last a week - I would however, like to know what becomes of Adam, the new poster boy for Chivalry and Old-Time Romance. Adam you Rock!

It said here in New Zealand the Jason and Melayna are now split up and that they split on the way top their dream holiday!!! What happened and apparently Adam is in a really secure relationship ( She probably went back to adam) I hope not she us a cow and i wish adasm one but can you guys let me know on the split things
