Albus Dumbledore
Alberforth Dumbledore
Alastor Moody
Severus Snape
Minerva McGonagall
Remus Lupin
Molly Weasley
Arthur Weasley
Charlie Weasley
Bill Weasley
Mundungus FLetcher
Hagrid
just to name a few.
What do they do for the order? Professor Dumbledore is the head of the order. What do you think the others do? Could Remus Lupin be in charge of recruiting other werewolves to join? I personally believe that Alberforth Dumbledore is working at the Hogs Head in Hogsmead to gather information from the patrons. Mundungus is used for his shady connections. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: gaboman | | Just looking at it, it doesn't really seem like an army big enough to foil Voldemort's evil plans, now, does it? Is the OoTP just the leaders, or is it the whole army? hmm....
I think Charlie Weasley is in charge of getting coffee...
Snape is, of course, their spy.
Hagrid is probably their messenger... seems that way...
I think you're right about Mundungus.... he was always about the "connections" (well, leaving Harry like that, for what?... no seriously, for what? I forgot what he went to buy... lol)
I don't know if Lupin could get other werewolfs to join... I was under the impression he was a "good" werefolf. Meaning they're generally evil... not sure | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: fuscia | | I want to know who else are members. Are Madame Rosmerta and Professor Flitwick members too? Hmm, I do believe that Harry should be allowed to join since he is the one all of this pertains to-heck he has the "big" job to do.
Mundungus was off buying illegal cauldrons. What they do with illegal cauldrons is anybody's guess.
I too wonder about the werewolves. The first book mentions that there are werewolves in the forest. Lupin does not live there. So, do the werewolves that are bad take residence there, or maybe just the homeless ones? | | Reply To this Message
|
| Posted by: gaboman | | I'd be pretty ticked if I was a homeless werewolf. Maybe they're just misunderstood that's it
Hmm... illegal cauldrons are used for making illegal potions of course. Duh!
Hehehe they should let Harry join, but they'll probably all be with that "oh we must protect you, you shouldn't worry about anything Harry" kind've thing...
"No, Prof. Dumbledore, I don't worry at all... you guys don't tell me a single thing so Ron, Hermione and myself go around in the middle of the night looking for clues as to what's going on, putting us in more danger than you could imagine, so we find out one way or another. Just save us the time, and 800 pages, and tell us what the problem is now!" | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: fuscia | | Yeah, you would think that they would have figured out that Harry will find out anyway what they are hiding.
Illegal potions? How about illegal booze!
I think being a werewolf is the equivalent of having a really bad and permanent STD in the wizarding world. EWW you can't date him he's a werewolf!!!

| Posted by: fuscia | | Whew. I just edited and added Professor Moody to the mix. I can't believe I forgot him. I wonder what he does? I can't wait to see him scare the robes off of the deatheaters. | | Reply To this Message
|
| Posted by: gaboman | | Nope, they didn't mention it. Just that he was undercover
I guess Voldemort has Snape as a spy in Hogwarts and the Order, so Snape feeds Voldemort fake info that seems true
.....or is he??????? | | Reply To this Message
|
| Posted by: fuscia | | Yeah, you wonder if he is more loyal to Dumbledore or more afraid of Voldemort. I just have to know what he did to earn Dumbledores trust and why he came over to the good side? | | Reply To this Message
|
| Posted by: gaboman | | my feeling is he's good... but you never ever know... it goes back and forth, however it always seems to always point to him being good
That's why I have my doubts | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: fuscia | | Now that one could keep me up at night.
How is Moody supposed to go undercover?
"Look Lucius is that an auror tailing us?"
"Don't be stupid Goyle. It's just a pirate" | | Reply To this Message
|
| Posted by: fuscia | | Well, how many disguises could Moody pull off? Totem pole, pirate, ghost of Marty Feldman..... | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: fuscia | | Mrs. Weasley. What does she do? She did guard duty and cooked, hmm I wonder what she will do now. Ideas? | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Lawless | | Good point... I wonder what she does, other than being a house wife and mom.
I have a feeling that she's got a good amount of magic in here.
I wouldn't want to be the one to piss that woman off... no thanks... nuh uh | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: fuscia | | Oh yeah I agree and she was head girl so she was smart as well. Lesson :don't piss off the mommy-that is the rule in our house- he he he | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Lawless | | Good rule... never piss off momma bear!! I did to mine when I was like, 18, and she poured hot coffee on my head! I don't EVER want to relive that. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Lawless | | Yes... and she scares me. I loved when she sent that Howler to Ron in book 2. That was funny. | | Reply To this Message
|
| Posted by: fuscia | | I liked it when she got the ton tongue toffees away from Fred and George. | | Reply To this Message
|
| Posted by: Lawless | | She was pissed, wasn't she?
I bet that she is the "keeper" in the Order.
She makes sure that each person is keeping to their assigned tasks! | | Reply To this Message
|
| Posted by: fuscia | | That would be a good job for her. Poor Mundungus. She will be all over him. | | Reply To this Message
|
| Posted by: fuscia | | Great idea. That would be a great thing for a Squib to have to communicate. Do you have to be dead for the picture to "travel"? | | Reply To this Message
|
| Posted by: fuscia | | I wonder if we will see any new Aurors in the next book and if they will join the order. | | Reply To this Message
|
| Posted by: Lawless | | I hope so... I think that we're going to need a whole slew of 'em now that the dark lord has risen and is now well known in the wizarding world. | | Reply To this Message
|
| Posted by: fuscia | | The thing is, now that Voldemort is back, not many people will want that job. | | Reply To this Message
|
| Posted by: Lawless | | Well, you would hope that there would be many that remember what happened all those years ago, and not want a repeat, and decide to become aurors. Who knows. | | Reply To this Message
|
| Posted by: Maja88 | | Well, I guess not only Aurors can fight Death Eaters. Look at Dumbledore or McGonagall, they’re high-school teachers… | | Reply To this Message
|
| Posted by: fuscia | | Good point Maja. I would think they would want more Aurors to help guard Azkaban. | | Reply To this Message
|
| Posted by: Lawless | | Yes, but they are much older wizards, have a lot of experience, and are a part of the Order. But, just learning defense against the dark arts magic would help a lot of people. That's why I hope that Harry continues teaching the other students. | | Reply To this Message
|
| Posted by: Maja88 | | Well, you know how there were some brief articles in Daily Prophet about how to defend from dark arts in the end of OoTP? Maybe there will even be some classes organised for the adults to learn how to defend themselves better. Perhaps in Hogwarts - wouldn't that be cool? I don't know about Harry teaching the students - I believe Dumbledore will find a competent teacher this time, when everybody's alarmed about Voldemort's return. I guess even Bill Weasley could do the job. Harry should better spend time learning how to control his temper, and also learning Occlumency and such, like it was said in another thread here. | | Reply To this Message
|
| Posted by: Lawless | | I believe that Harry is quite competent in the Dark Arts. There's something inside him that just intuitive knows things, for some reason.
But you're right... Harry does need to learn how to control his temper, and learn occlumency. | | Reply To this Message
