Palestine belonged to Jews first? Is that the reason they murder Muslims daily now? |
Actually, No! The IDF goes into Territories with the intention of getting Hamas members who are responsible for the Murder Of Israeli civilians.

Muslims have controlled the land for 2000 years, and they have always allowed people of denominations to come and go as they like. What is wrong with this matter? |
From 1517-1917 Turkey's Ottoman Empire controlled a vast Arab empire, a portion of which is today Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine. During World War I (1914-1918), Turkey supported Germany. When Germany was defeated, so were the Turks. In 1916 control of the southern portion of their Ottoman Empire was "mandated" to France and Britain under the Sykes-Picot Agreement, which divided the Arab region into zones of influence.

Misplaced Jewish anger towards Muslims? Are the Jew's still mad about the 3 Jewish tribes that lied and broke treaties and had to be punished by the Holy Prophet (SAW) for their treacherous deeds? Are they trying to get Muslims back now? What about the Christians who massacred Jews as an act of charity? |
So, at first conquering Israel was the Jews attempt at conquering the World, but now, Mr Truthful says it was because the jews wanted Revenge for the "3 Jewish Tribes". So, which is it??

Isn't this land segregated because of Jews and Muslims? Why do Jews think they can take land? |
Nope - the land is segregated because the Arabs refused many previous offers to create one Large State with both a Jewish and Arab population.

Arab nations officially have the right to defend themselves according to Merkava. All wars and battles against Israel can only be labeled defensive against Israel! Merkava has said it herself, that they weren't able to defend themselves, obviously whenever they get the resources they should take full advantage! |
Arab nations certainly do have the right to defend themselves. The wars of 1948, 1967, and 1973 - have nothing to do with Their defense - they were all Caused because of Arab Aggression - but dont take my word for it -go look it up in any History book.

| Posted by: Truthful | | Okay, I am going to call a truce to these hostilities. Especially since I am stressed about tests. Therefore, I shall continue my arguments in a respectful manner next week. I am sorry for any hardness on my part, I have a lot of stuff to do and am not in a a position to give intellectual arguments on my behalf.
Take care,
Sorry

How can the area that is refferred to as Palestine be controlled by Muslims for 2000 years when Islam did not exist until 1400 years ago?
Are you really trying to say that Isalm promotes tolerance? | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Dragonhalitosis | | Islam has a long history of religious tolerance which is much better than the comparitive Christian history. When the Jews were driven from Ferdinand and Isabellas Spain it was to Muslim countries that they went too. Syria and Egypt have had Christianty from Roman times and stilll have a substantial Christian minority. 10 % of palestinians Before Jewish Colonisation were Christians and the eastern or Wailing wall of the Jewish temple is revered to muslims too. until fairly recently most Arab countries had substantial Jewish minorities. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Merkava | | This is very true. However - as you have mentioned - certain sectors of islam have lately turned into a very intolerant religion. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Dragonhalitosis | | Certain Sectors certainly have, aided amply by countries such as America and Israel both of which have cultures which they proudly boast are supposed to have more respect for tolerance and human rights. To my way of thinking this gives them less excuse. than Arabs who are still struggling to develop democracy. Some people seem to think the pocession of democracy and human rights and respect for truth is an excse to abandon them as soon as they are inconvienient. I can't understand why they think this. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: antizionist2004 | | it is not really a muslim 'thing' to go around bombing people, that is more what you would expect from an arab, and considering most arabs are muslims, muslims usually get the blame. Having said that, the Turks were in for a shock a few weeks ago when it came out that the Istanbul bombings were done by non-Arab muslims. However, I still feel this is a strictly Arab thing, and if it wasn't for Israel, then the fundementalists wouldn't exist. Remember, it was Jewish terrorist groups before 1948 (remember the King David Hotel being blown up by the Stern Gang and Irgun? Remember Haganah??) | | Reply To this Message
