I have to say... I was REALLY disgusted with Ryan's friends even allowing him to leave with those strippers!!!
I'm glad that two of his friends love him enough and came to get him.
Who the heck planned that party, anyway ? CBS ? It was way over the top. What the hell were they thinking ? Especially with Ryan's and Christa's Dad's in attendance ! They even had several "heats" of strippers. All those guys who left and let Ryan leave didn't want to be "caught on tape" with the strippers for various reasons. Ryan seemed pretty intoxicated. What the hell would they have done if he was driving -- hand him his keys ? Some "friends", huh ?
Also disgusting was that male stripper at the girls' party grabbing and rubbing all over Christa's younger sister who was so uncomfortable to begin with. If I was there I would have quietly asked him to let her go ... and would have been carrying a sharp instrument to encourage him to do so quickly.
And that whole scene with Trista crying in the bathroom!!! Give me a break!!
I know. Puh-leeze !
Though, I loved the scene when they found each other at the end and were just holding on to each other and crying! You can tell that they are really in love.
I hope they are ... He seems to be nuts about her ... but her general demeanor makes me question her long term intentions.
I didn't watch the show... but since Heidi has been watching it, I've seen the past couple of weeks. It's all annoying. I don't understand the whole concept of going on a show to meet someone... and falling in love with one person out of however many they start out with. It's like 5 weeks long for them... and in that whole time, the amount of quality time that they spend together is really nothing. I just don't think that it's a great start for any relationship! Just my opinion though.
Heidi probably already explained all this to you, but Trista was one 25 women on the original Bachelor show. She ended up staying until Final 2 and the guy picked the other girl.
Following that, CBS must have received a lot of mail from males about her and decided to cast her as the first Bachelorette. That is where she met and selected Ryan. They are the only couple to marry.
I really hope they made the decision to do so at this time for the right reasons, and not because of all the perqs and money, etc.
I totally agree with you that it's not the greatest start for a relationship and taking it a step further, I think this TV wedding thing is not such a great start for a marriage. It's not "normal" and their folks are barely included ... evreything is a secret. Seems that when all the lights go off, they will have to face REAL reality if you know what I mean.
