| Posted by: Lawless | | I love getting gift certificates so that I can go to the book stores and pick out different books to add to my collection, or even dvd's. I really don't collect anything... so, it's easy. BOOKS!!! I love 'em, a lot. That... or something for my computer. I want to get the equipment to have wireless connection to the internet. I think that it will cost me about $100.00 Might be something that I ask my mom for. Or, I will just get that later. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: chelktty | | I asked my sister what we were doing about presents for the kids this year and she told me about the following site:
http://www.boxtops4education.com/
All of the schools in our area collect box tops and send them in for a donation to the school. On this site you can shop online for Holiday gifts and a percentage of your purchase goes back to the school of your choice. I just thought I'd throw it out there, give to your kids and their school at the same time.
As for myself, for the past few years I've never really wanted anything for Christmas. I just have fun going to my sister's and stuffing the stockings for the girls, then watching them tear into their presents like little tazmanian devils on Christmas morning. My favorite part about the Holidays is the food and family. | | Reply To this Message

The only thing I had on my list this year was The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. I had read it years ago, and now I don't remember any of it. | | Reply To this Message

Mom got it for me at Walden Books, for my bday. I think that it was $25 | | Reply To this Message

I like electronics, music...anything along those lines. As for something less expensive, books are good. Someone gave me a Vampire Encyclopedia last year for Christmas which I thought was like the best thing in the world. This year, I'm hoping for a deck of tarrot cards. Crucifixes are always good. It allows me to expand my collection of them. I know, I have a taste for strange things. But, what can I say? | | Reply To this Message

So, we went out to dinner, and then "hit the stores!"
We got some presents from us, to us! Clothes, books, dvds, etc...
I LOVE getting gift certificates and cards, because you can shop for what you want! | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: fuscia | | OBAF, how can anyone argue with chocolate as a gift. My sister loves it when I make chocolate covered macadamia nuts for her. | | Reply To this Message

Kris, I would not recommend raiding that tree. There is a hummingbird that lives in there and he gets really pissed off if you get up in that tree.
