Hey did anyone see the 'extra' footage from the two towers? Some of the clips are up on yahoo movies. The one where Arwen discovers Aragon's age is hilarious. The look on his face when he eats her cooking. You can tell he is hard pressed not to puke!!!

My nephew brought me the DVD to watch. I loved those scenes. They were so funny. I also liked the added scenes with Boromir, Denthor and Faramir.

I like when they found Saruman's storage and Merry told Pippin that the weed might be Treebeard's realitve so they shouldn't tell him XD

I also like when Merry and Pippin got trapped in that tree. It was as if they paid tribute to Old Man Willow and Tom Bombadil whenever Treebeard told the tree to go back asleep. I believe that was Tom's same lines he said in the FOTR.

I though of Tom Bombadil too when I saw him get stuck in the tree.

On one of the other two disks where they had extra things and stuff one of the women said that that was their trbute to Tom since they didn't have him in the first one. That was nice. I just now realized how much Treebeard and Tom are really alike. Once ya think about it and all. They both aren't on any sides when the hobbits meet them and they don't really care about the Ring and I think that if the Ring somehow ended up being in Treebeard's care, he wouldn't be effected by it because he's not bother by things of that sort. Ya learn something new everyday XD

I loved a lot of those extra scene's!!! The relationship (or lack there of) between Aragorn and Eowyn is well done. She is just so head over heels in love with him!!! That was hysterical watching him have to eat the food that she made for him!! It looked like some eye or something that he put in his mouth!

When Merry and Pippen found that storage of food at the end! Oh man, and not telling Treebeard about the weed!! And there, at the very end, he hears them and sees the smoke and peeks in there.

I'm glad that they put in the memory of Faramirs, where he is with his brother and his father!!! I have NO idea why they cut that out from the original. That would explain a lot to the people who haven't read the books.

I too thought the memories of Faramir should have made it into the movie. People who never read the books need to understand the character of Denthor and why his sons made the choices that they did.

How did you see these scenes. I have the DVD, but these scenes are not on it.

Some clips are on yahoo, while the complete ones are on the 'special extended version' of the DVD.

Talk about squeezing money out of a franchize....

Heather... it's the extended version of TT that just came out on Nov 18th. It has new AND deleted scenes that were put into the movie. It's soooo great!!! You have to get it. I believe that you can find the extended version dvd for somewhere between 25 - 30 dollars.

And I for one, am not giving them any!!! Well, I did spend $1.50 to buy the ticket, but thats about it. I am not going to be a part of their cash cow. They are too

And besides, who would want to buy the DVD when I can check it out from my university's main library or the city public library?

Thanks Kris. My nephew bought it early so I could borrow it when my computer was down. He had just watched it at a friends house, but he was nice enough to think of me.

If I didn't think of my aunts, especially my the ones who are always good to me and treat me like a son, my mother would kick my a** (figuratively of course, meaning that she would scold me).
