Michael Jackson rather a strange character!

Though Michael, is indeed of rather a queer (and I don't mean gay!!!!) nature- but is arguably, one of the most talented artists of our time. His private life should not be of concern to the public- the lawsuits against him for large sums of money- and it's just common courtesy to allow someone their privacy. He has been on every single channel lately because of that 12 year old boy's accusation (of which I have no reason to disbelieve. Can reporters just leave the man in peace?

I too am already sick of the news coverage. Unfortunately, it is the new "hot" story and I don't see it going away anytime soon. We have suicide bombings going on around the world, yet MJ gets more air time. How sad.

Indeed. When there are far more important things in the world, the media still devotes their attention to a celebrity. This is rather a sick culture that I am forced to grow up in.

exactly Mj is a regular human just like us so his life shouldnt be broadcasted so much if he did it then it will all come out but dang its not the most important thing going on in the world.

Definately, I was shocked when I heard that MJ was getting more coverage than the bombings in Turkey. Really, American media needs to get it's priority's right.

I don't think the media is going to stop the way it covers these high-profile stories until their consumers, us, stop gulping it down. This kind of story goes over big for a couple of reasons:

1) lots of people don't want to think about stuff like bombings and international problems. Takes too much brain power.

2) lots of people just love to make quick judgemnts about guilt and then wait for every little tidbit that proves they are right. Let's face it, not a whole lot of people willing, anymore, to wait until evidence is presented in a trial to form their opinions of guilt or innocence.

I personally think MJ is a very sick person. I think his emotional and psychological development stopped at about age 10. I think it is unfortunate that his family did not intervene years ago and insist that he get some counselling.

If he did molest that child, then I think the DA should also be looking very seriously at the parents and if they recklessly endangered their child by leaving him alone with Jackson.
