| Ok got this idea from the movies that made you cry thread:
Movies that TRIED to make you cry. They attempted to be tear jerkers but failed with you miserably.
For me,
Titanic - I wasn't sad when Jack died, I was more sad for the kids that the steerage passenger had tucked into bed for their inevitable doom.
Autumn in New York - Watching Richard Gere and Wynona Ryder, (though I like both actors) looked wrong. I felt no sympathy for her character and no attachment between the two of them.
Beaches - Not really, I actually cried the first time I watched it, but never again after that. I was watching an 80's special on VH1 and they mentioned Beaches. Saying it was a movie about 2 women who are having constant PMS. I laughed so hard that I couldn't take it seriously again if I tried. | |
