Marilyn Manson is indeed a very cute person and yes, he rubbed his phallus against the back of a security guard's head at a concert- he's performed fellatio in public and he's been arrested for indecent exposure- he's also been falsely accused of violating the adult entertainment code- the poor man! Well, apparently someone has taken that comment of mine a bit TOO seriously. Marilyn Manson will not be the next Michael Jackson- Manson still has his nose, I must point out to you.
No, I do not think Marilyn Manson is cute because I (in a way similar to him) love shock value and love the disgusted reactions of people. But, please, don't think I'm insulting any of you who critisized or were repulsed my ficticous opinion because I do agree that the general idea of that metal band being cute is absolutely absurd. I still love the music, though, and am quite familiar with the band's (especially the frontman whose real name is Brian Warner) history.

Oh no, you did not offend me in the least bit. There are a few Manson fans out there who are a little strange- I like the band because Manson is awfully smart (and somewhat odd) and I really like the music.

MANSON FACES SWISS INQUIRY

Shock rocker Marilyn Manson is being investigated by Swiss police, after a religious group complained about his stage act while he was touring there two years ago.

Zurich police said Manson was being probed after allegedly breaching Swiss law protecting religion, as well as making incitements to violence during a concert in the city in February 2001.

Police called Manson -- real name Bryan Warner -- in for questioning before he returned to perform in Zurich last weekend.

Manson's stage antics include tearing up a Bible and dubbing himself the "Anti-Christ Superstar." He is also baptized as a Satanist and is an honorary priest in the Church of Satan.

And he has angered the Switzerland's Christians for Truth, who tried unsuccessfully to have the latest concert banned on grounds that Manson's views were offensive to a majority of the population.

Manson has denied all accusations against him, insisting his act is meant to provoke a debate about violence and religion.

Officials are currently deciding if they will charge Manson.

My, my, my. Looks like the poor man is again being discriminated against just for saying he has different views. Not much I can do about his situation with those Swiss people, who have not discovered the wonders of separation of church and state.
Oh yes, I must point out that Manson's real name is Brian, not Bryan. Another thing, as well, Mr. Brian Warner is baptised as a Satanist, yes, but he's was appointed Reverend Manson by the late Anton Xzander LaVey in the 90's- he is not a priest for the Church of Satan.

Just to let you all know, I AM NOT a Satanist, nor do I have the intentions of converting myself into Satanism. I'm more against orginized religions. More similiar am I to the characteristics of Marilyn Manson's ex-bass player Jeordie Francis White a.k.a Twiggy Ramirez who is an atheist.

Oh yeah, I might add that a band who just chants satantic mantras and has no other message to deliver through their music, is of no interest to me. I may like some eternal music, but the band has to at least have something important to say.

I think it is a big overreaction, the people at the concert would have expected a controversial show like that and that is what they got. You cannot possibly know of Marilyn Manson and not know his views are not "normal".

You go to one of his shows expecting to be shocked, if it was too much for some people, they shouldn't have gone to the concert.

If the whole country didn't like it, they shouldn't have let him in. We had huge debate over whether Eminen should be allowed to perform in Australia because he was not "normal" and in the end they just let him come and said "If you don''t like it, don't go to the concert".

I like Mansion songs and what not but Its just my opinion that or I know that Marlyin Manson is not the Anti-christ, now he could be a prophet or just for show biz like Dani from CoF, but you wouldn't recognize the real Anti-chirst if it walked up to you now would you.
