The History Of Michael Jackson's Face |
| Posted by: Inner City Blues | | Forget the eccentric or not question, Michael Jackson had a far from normal childhood, so he was never pleased with himself. His family would make fun of his acne when he was young, and as a star in the public eye, he was required to be cute. So yeah, he's a bit crazy. He has image issues, but people want to act all high and mighty and deride him for a clearly psychological issue with self-image. People are hypocirtes to put it bluntly. | | Reply To this Message

The fact of the matter is instead of getting couseling to grow and mature into a well balanced adult, his every whim has been indulged by those around him. He needs serious psychotherapy. With his mental instability he definitely should not have custody of children. His emotional issues will no doubt effect those children. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Inner City Blues | | I don't think he should lose custody of his children, that would be even worse for the kids, but he does need some counseling, but because of all the money he has, it's pretty difficult to convince those around him to really push him in that direction. But then you have the issue of trust, whatever therapist he goes to will try to write a book and just betray his trust. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: chelktty | | Honestly I feel bad for the guy. He's perpetually screwed up...possibly so bad that the damage is irreversable. If he is indeed guilty of these accusations, I make him the one exception to my usual stance on child molesters (which is trim off their twiggs and berries, lock them up and throw away the key). Personally I think he should be committed to a mental institution until he can learn to grasp reality.
As far as him seeking the counseling of a psychiatrist only to have that doctor turn around a write a book, it's doubtful. Patients are protected by doctor/patient confidentiality. To write a book about his/her findings the doctor would be disbarred from the medical profession forever. They would also likely face heavy fines and penalties, not to mention a massive amount of restitution after the patient sued them for malpractice. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Lawless | | He doesn't have all that much money. There are over 1000 lawsuits pending against him, and he is close to bankrupt. This was on the news last night.
I don't know that he should have the kids taken from him, but I think that until this matter is solved, there should be 24/7 surveillance on him around ANY child. I don't care if you're black or white, rich or poor, etc... if there is a claim of any type of sexual misconduct with a child, that person needs to be watched until a case can be decided on. | | Reply To this Message
