This is one of the smartest shows on television, and SO well written and well acted ... ... Anybody watching ?

I was watching until they stop showing it on free-to-air TV n Australia. I was so sad and now I found out they are not putting it back on EVER.

I agree, I think it is a great show, really well written and well acted, I like it.

YAY!!!!!!!!!! Different channel, different time, but Gilmore Girls are coming back!!!!!! YAY!!!!

No doubt though I am so far behind you guys, I think we are starting with season three and going on from there. What season are you up to?

gilmore girls is definately a great show! did anyone see tuesday nights show? do you think that lane is going to move in with loralei?

I love the show. I just wish they would get Luke and Lorelei together once and for all. Quit having different love interests for each of them - and let them fall in love with each other.

I really hope that Luke and Loreli get together this season.

Lane moving in with Loreli would be really cool. I didn't used to like her, but now she just cracks me up. I really want to see her and her mom develop a great relationship.

This weeks episode was so good.

The Jess episode is going to be really interesting. But I really wanted Rory to stick with Dean. I really liked them together.

i know- but dean is married now- honestly i hope lindsay dies! rori and dean are obviously supposed to be together! im still furious with luke for letting dean marry lindsay! that would be great if lane and loralei live together!

did anyone see what happened last night? i wasnt able to watch it.

I like the show. I always have. I got my mother HOOKED on it during the first season when I lived at home. Now, she doesn't miss a single one. I have to say, being raised Seventh-Day Adventist, the show doesn't represent the people of the faith very well. We are shown in a rather unappealing, unflattering light, and that's not how we are as a whole at all. Granted, there are some people who are that strict in our religion, but that's how things are in every religion. There are always people who live by strict religiously-inspired rules, and who work tirelessly to instill the values and guidelines into their children, but come on... A crucifix over Lane's bed? Seventh-Day Adventists don't even believe in those things... Seven deadly sins aren't a part of our doctrine either... I suppose that some of the writers know a thing or two about how the religion really is, but they are using some rather harsh mechanics to get their opinions across... At least, that's how I see it... Still, the show is great, and I have a feeling that Lane will spend a lot more time at Yale from now on.

Well... lets's see.

Lane is living with Rory in the dorms, for now. Loreli went to see Mrs. Kim and let her know that Lane is okay.

Loreli went on a date w/Jason. Booring, he could not get off the phone about work. Loreli was going to tell Emily about Jason but she was laughing at the prospect of them together. Loreli chickened out.

Luke's sister shows up on the show for the first time. She had an angle, but the plot here was really badly done. She apparently told Jess where his car was.

Jess shows up in the last 20 minutes of the show, steals his car, has an argument with Luke. Rory and Loreli see him sleeping in his car in the cold. Rory seems to be over him.

Paris was freaking (what else is new) throughout the show. She broke up with Jamie because she is seeing Mr. Stuffy Professor (who you know is using her and will break her heart).

Loreli was sitting with Kirk in the restaurant pretending to flirt with him and makingh im uncomfortable. That was really funny.

All in all it was an okay episode. Not the hype of Jess coming back that the previews seemed to make of it. Quite dull so far.

Next week, Rory and Jess get into it.

Yeah, the previews always make things out to be alot more than what they really are on the show. thanks for tellin me what happened on the show- about the whole mrs. lane and religion thing- im a christian and i dont know anyone who is that strict! i mean honestly! my parents are really strict with me- but i kinda rebel like lane.

ok then dont watch it. i love it! i hope that Lorelei and Luke to hook up. thy obviously will, but maybe it's too early in the show for that to happen. maybe they'll like get married for the series finale or something. ohhh.....but then there's Chris, rory's dad. what about him?!

Well, Chris seems to be a real stranger lately. I think they know the fans want Loreli and Luke. JMO.

I think that Rory and Dean will get back together, just a theory. He still loves her. And what was up with Jess coming back? In, Out. No real story line there. So he loves Rory, so what? Was he going to ask her to marry him? That whole thing was weird. Usually the writers go somewhere good or funny, but apparently they had a substitute writer that episode.

The Lane storyline has totally got my attention. Paris on the other hand needs a long vacation on Mars. Perhaps some time alone on a deserted planet with two small robots might make her appreciate people.

yeah- we all know that rory and dean belong together and loralei and luke belong together- thats obvious- i just cant wait until it happens

yeah i agree with the loralei/luke and rory/dean thing......but what ABOUT jess? that was stupid. they added a huge twist to the show and then forgot about it in the next episodes. ummm.....he said he loves her adn that's IT? so i guess she doesnt reciprocate the feeling or else maybe she woulda done SOMEthing about it.

All I can think about Jess is, it was "closure" for Rory/the plot line.
Well they are suppose to open the inn in May. I will be curious to see how that plays out. And what was with Emily having a major meltdown? WHOA! I really dislike Jason. I wish he would just go away. He really doesn't add to the show.

i don't mind Jason... but I just don't see why he's with Lorelai... I want her with Luke... and if Chris came back sometime it would be ok to see her with him, but he's married now and has a kid. I hope Dean gets divorced!

i hope dean gets divorced too! and loralei needs to get with luke!

yeah......well we all know that loralei is gonna hook up with Luke sooner or later... its just a plot waiting to happen

I really think the Jason thing is happening to make Emily mad in some future episode. I am actually amazed they have not done that yet.

I am sure Dean and Rory are going to get back together. They are so setting us up for that. My guess is, it's the season finale. "Will Dean divorce and marry Rory?" I can just see the cliff hanger now. Then we have to wait all summer for the results.

well they aren't getting loralei and Luke together yet, cuz that's what most people want, so they're making us wait. Rory probably loves Dean. Lindsay and Dean don't really suit each other, and I can see that he'll probably have marriage problems with her. Eventually, Loralei is going to have to tell her parents about her and Jason, but my guess is that they'll find out before she actually tells them.

you know what... i bet you are right... the only thing i hate about gilmore girls is that they show it the same time as american idol so i dont get to watch it until the reruns come on

Yeah, they are going to drag out the Loreli and Luke thing until the end of the series. Always happens.

Have you thought about recording GG's while you watch the other show? I used to have 3 nights where that would happen to me, and none of those shows re-ran.

omg that DOES suck! its not like that for me, american idol is on at 7 and gilmore girls is on at 10... so its all ok.

yeah- it really does... and then this week and last week... it was survivor and american idol on the same night too... plus i have church on wednesday nights so i have to rush home from that just to see who goes

i tape american idol sometimes because I work on tuesdays and sometimes wednesdays.... ANYWAYS................

well gilmore girls is pretty good but it is starting to get really gay well thats all i have to say

Did anyone see the season finale?? It was good!!! I'm happy about Lorelai and Luke hooking up... but Rory shouldnt have had sex with Dean while he is still married.

I am so glad they hooked up. It was so beautiful. I loved how they used humor during that romantic kiss scene. I was sure Jason was going to ruin it, the jerk. I never liked him.

And as much as I want Dean and Rory back together, that was not how it should have happened. And again with the strange Jess scenes. We're over Jess. Let it go!

I am so glad that the Inn is finally open. It will make next season interesting.

I am watching Season 1 on DVD...and I absolutely love this show.

It is just what the doctor ordered. And I like the fact that it is a very wholesome show without alot of crap infused...like cursing and abuse and such like that.

I really am enjoying watching the relationship beween Lorelai and her controlling mother and very funny father....and even more so, enjoying the healthy mother/daughter relationship between Lorelai and Rory.

Just reminding everyone...Gilmore Girls is on tonight!!!

Well, since it's coming up on it's final episodes (like 7th Heaven), I don't know how hot it will get. Just a couple months from the very last ever Gilmore Girls ep.

It fits that when I start to get into some good relatively wholesome (at least shows where death and torture are not involved) shows, they cancel them.

But at least I have my coworker with series 1-5 on DVD who will give them for me to catch up.

This is so very sad. And I was hoping to share this show with y'all.

Yes, they are over this season. They don't want to see their ratings drop. Many shows are starting to bow out before they drop in ratings... and this one is no exception.

According to the official Gilmore Girls site...there will be a 7th season.
