| It is widely believed that Iraq has virtually no chance of winning this war and repelling the U.S. and British forces. Peace protestors should now focus their efforts on convincing the Iraqi government to surrender if it is serious about containing civilian casualties.
It is obvious the peace protests, though sometimes quite large, are ineffective especially in a short-war such as this. Furthermore, on the assumption that the U.S. and the U.K. do not sustain additional heavy casualties, public support in America and Britain should remain quite high. | |
