March 22, 2003 The war with Iraq is going a great deal differently then everyone expected. Alot of pro-test around the country today but remember, you who do protest, it is the soildiers over in Iraq defending this great nation that give you that right. Also in the news today President Bush approval rating is up to70% up from 40% in Jan. ,concerning the war in Iraq. So you see the silent majority still beleives and supports AMERICA! Look around tomorrow and the next day the silent majority are about to let the nation know that we are here and behind HER.

I support AMERICA ONLY! Bush and the Neocon occupied government serve their masters in Jerusalem, so they fight this war and next year's PRE-DETERMINED war in Iran to build a Middle East that favors Israel, paid for by American blood.

Well said! I'm with you. I'm shocked at the hypocritical Americans who have all these freedoms......protesting. What will it take? Another terrorist plane? Weapons of mass d. in their lungs?
Obviously Bush is taking huge political risks. He obviously is not concerned about his re-election prospects.

I AM praying this does not turn into a World War. If a reasonable solution were available, we'd take it. But I do worry about the troops. I also think these protests are "fueling the fire" of American hatred in other countries. This is not a good situation.

Pray, pray, pray. And, continue to support the America my father fought for many years ago!

brendy - with you all the way! Don't get me wrong - I'm not a "card carrying NRA-type of guy" - but there does come a time when "enough is enough". While well within their rights to protest (though they've shown their butts resorting to violence themselves - which is more that a bit ironic), I have to wonder about the country that they would rather have - full of non-sacrifice and "tolerance to a fault" - right up until they're kissing the butt of some tyrannical leader.

llangst, that praying you were talking about to prevent a world war...you might as well make better use of your time because that's exactly where your president is taking you.
The sooner you realise that this war is not just about Iraq, that this is about holding a major oil producing country in its sway with which to trade and supply oil to other nations, that Afghanistan, then Iraq then Iran or North Korea or whoever Bush has got next ringed on his list isn't 21st cebntury empire building then the quicker you'll get a handle on this war.

The U.S.A is one of the most blessed nations in the world, and if you live here you already know that. The U.S.A. helps more countries then any other nation in the world, and as we fight the leadership of Iraq we are bringing in food , water, medical aid to the Iraq people, something their on goverment want do, any in non-war times. You talk about we are heading to a world war, well, that might be true. The Bible speaks of this,and it might be now,or next week, or next year,or ten years from now or longer. But the fact stills remains, God has Blessed this country in such a way that I beleive that we are just a tool to free the Iraq people of this man. I hate the thought of loss of human life whether it be American or Iraqs, but if it saves, thousnds or may-be more, then who are we to question what our leadership is doing, and again I remind you the majority of Americans support this, so this is not something done on a personal level. The thought of this being done to get the oil is ridiculous, even though I feel the U.S.A. would not let any country parilize the world because of it, war would be the last resort. This is not the situation here. GOD BLESS the U.S.A and I for one still support Her.

If you think that oil is a side issue here or that to even consider it is ridiculous then why are American companies already haggling for oil contracts in readiness for when Iraq falls. Why is Mr Rumsfeld so intent on the repair of Iraq to be conducted under the exclusive control of the US instead of the UN which is the proper authority? Incidentally a report that came to Britain was about contracts for the port of Um Qasr when it fell. A British company put in a bid and was told that the contract was for American companies only. It seems that the British have fought and died alongside the Americans yet when it comes to the spoils suddenly we don't qualify.
I do agree with you that you have a marvellous country. I have met many Americans through my work and I've found them a very likeable people. Which is why it bothers me more that blind faith is put in God and your president. You ask who are we to question Bush, well you are The People, The Citizens, The Electorate. Government is not just about ruling it is also about serving and your Bill of ights and Written Constitution give you the absolute right to question your policy makers. I've written to many Americans on this site who expressed a similar complete acceptance in what will be will be and it is completely at odds with the way the British do things. We question and challemge anything that smells fishy and are more than prepared to speak out against our Government if it fails us - and we don't even have the luxury of a Bill of Rights.

American oil companies are hoping you are right. But I still do not believe this is the U.S.A. intentions. I at this time would not want the UN in controll of this issue, would you?The next thing is ,you say a blind faith, that is so far from the truth. You see ,the U.S.A., has been giving more then any nation in the world,why? Because it has more people depending and believing on that blind faith you are talking about.

Do you remember all that talk after 9/11 of resolving the crisis in Palestine - of helping them and it turned out yet again just to be talk. Why wasn't it dealt with there and then - no need to answer.

We've been betraying the Arabs for years (by we i mean Britain and America) - using them and dumping them when we've felt like it - no wonder we're in the predicament we're in - what comes round as they say.

Stick some more gasoline on the fire - that ought to do the trick.

Way to go Brendy! We the silent majority not only belive in and support America but we also are supporting our local police by not keeping them from important things ( LIKE Protecting Us) . GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY and HER Troops

I totally agree with you...I can almost guarentee you that there's going to be another war...and it's going to be in Iran...and then another one...this time maybe against Pakistan...and during one of these wars, one of the other powers will interfere and this will be the start of World War Three...
