| I'm very disappoined about the USA. I've always been a big fan and admirerer of this country. For me it always meant democracy and freedom. But when I read some comments in this forum I really ask myself if I have been fooling myself during the last years. I've never seen so much intolerance in one place.
I've always known that Americans are very proud of their country (which is a good thing), but the exaggerated patrionism is really frightening me. I also have the impression that a lot of Amrericans use the word "war" too thoughtless. If you have once experienced war in your own country you use this word more carefully and wisely.
I don't mean to insult any American with these words. It just would be nice if you think about to what this currently American intolerance against any people who are against the war is leading. | |
