My Thanksgiving Day Menu

My sister and I do all the cooking (though she does most of it) for Thanksgiving. We usually have 20 + people in the house for dinner, so we always make a wide variety of food;

Turkey (22 -24 lbs)
Mashed Potatoes (10-15 lbs)
Stuffing
Gravy
Cranberry Sauce (homemade & canned jelly)
Corn
Green Bean Casserole
Sweet Potato Casserole
Stuffed Mushrooms
Stuffed Artichokes
Smoked Salmon Dip
Honey Baked Ham
Fried Cauliflower
Greens (southern thing)
Deviled Eggs

Desserts:
Homemade Butter Cookies
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies
Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Peanut Butter Cookies
Pumpkin Pie
Apple Pie
Chocolate Pudding Pie
Chocolates
Spice Cake w/ Lemon Icing

I gain 5 extra pounds just thinking about it all! No wonder people's resolution for the New Year is to lose weight!
This is my favorite holiday I think, because of the food, family and friends. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

Wow Chel. I bet you have fantastic dinners. No pecan pie? I have to have my pecan pie at Thanksgiving. Hint, put a cap of rum or Southern Comfort in it. YUM!!!!

I'm booking a flight to Tampa for Thanksgiving. I'm eating with your family!! DANG!

Okay, we're not having anywhere near that good of stuff.
Oh... I'm drooling just thinking about those stuffed artichokes!

Sweet potatoes - with marshmellows and pecans.
Also, one batch of sweet potatoes without marshmellows.
Bean casserole
Cranberry sauce
Cranberry fruit salad
Fruit salad
Jello salads
Ham
Stuffing
Gravy
and some pies for dessert.

Hmmmm... My dinner just doesn't sound good compared to chel's! Well, except for those nasty stuffed mushrooms that you're having!!

I went to Starbucks the other day and tried their snack cake "Cranberry Bliss Bar". OMG, it was awesome! They sell it in a full pan so I think we'll be adding that to our dessert table!

Alright... Sherry, you and I will fly out there, get the goods, grab 'em, and fly back here and have a GREAT Thanksgiving with our families. Chel won't even know what happened... we will be stealthy!
