Pop babe Natalie Imbruglia showed her joy at her imminent wedding when she picked out her ring.

The beauty is due to her wed Australian countryman Daniel Johns, lead singer of rock band Silverchair, next month in Newcastle, near Sydney.

And the pair showed their devotion recently when they went shopping for rings at Tiffany & Co.'s Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills store.

An onlooker says, "Even though she was wearing dark glasses, you could tell Natalie was so happy. She just could not stop smiling."

Australian actress and popstar Natalie Imbruglia wed longtime boyfriend Daniel Johns in secret at an exclusive resort on Tuesday.

The couple exchanged vows at the Thala Beach Lodge on Australia's north-eastern coast.

Johns, 24, who is four years younger than the singer, fronts rock group Silverchair.

Imbruglia's silk chiffon wedding gown was crafted by Beverly Hills designer Monique Lhuillier.

Natalie Imbruglia keeps telling us she's "worth it" and now her mantra has won her a record deal with music bigwigs.

The singer - who married fellow Aussie musician Daniel Johns on New Year's Eve - is the face of L'Oreal and has been in Cannes promoting the cosmetics company.

And sources close to the usually beautiful Nat, 29, tell us Hugh Goldsmith, previously boss of Innocent record label, and Jeremy Marsh, formerly of Telstar, have signed her to their new label they have set up under music giant BMG.

RCA - which is an off-shoot of BMG - recently dropped Natalie. But rather than follow her fledgling film career or settle into domestic bliss with Silverchair rocker Daniel, 24, she's following her rock roots.

"Nat's really a rock chick," reveals one insider. "But RCA wanted her to be poptastic and appeal to the younger side of the market while being like Kylie.

"She's very head-strong and luckily Hugh and Jeremy came to the rescue. They know she's a huge talent and want to work with Natalie and her ideas."

And her eye-popping looks must have caught their attention too.

NATALIE IMBRUGLIA'S rocker husband Daniel Jones admits that marrying the pop beauty saved him from suicide.

The troubled Aussie singer, who fronted the band Silverchair, suffered from anorexia as a teenager. And he revealed the eating disorder left him contemplating taking his own life.

But now Jones, who at the height of his illness weighed just 50 kilograms, says Natalie's love means he no longer has such dark thoughts. He said: 'There was three or four years where I hated myself and would have happily ended it all, but I'm not like that anymore. Now I've got this amazing life and a great wife.' The 26-year-old, who now has a new band called The Dissociatives, married Natalie in Port Douglas, Australia, earlier this year.

I saw Daniel's interview last night on Enough Rope with Andrew Denton and it was great. Good on you Daniel for working through all your troubles and finding a beautiful soul mate in the process. I think it's great!
