Patronus forms

A patronus is used to defend against dementors. Do you have any choice in what form yours takes?

What form would you want for your Patronus?

I believe that mine would be a snow leopard - white with light black (is there such a thing) spots.

Kris I love snow leopards. I would like mine to be something small like a meerkat or an otter. I love tigers, but I like the irony of a small animal taking down a bunch of big scary dementors.

I wonder what Dumbledore's patronus is?

Ummmmmmmmm, a giant squid?

Oh no. Not that wacko squid thing again. He is not the squid! I think that he too would choose something small like a butterfly.

Hagrid would be a dragon.

Hey, how about Draco having his patronus being ..... and Evil Sockmonkey! Just kidding!

I think that it would be great to find that Dumbledore has the capability to have multiple forms! After all, he is the wizard with the most knowledge!!!

Hmmm. I changed my mind about Draco. I see him as having a weasel as his patronus.

Trewalney. I see her as having an owl. She would want something that can see.

You have a good point about the owl and Trelawney. She would want something that could be another set of eyes for her.

Mine would be either a cat of some kind or a Jackal.

Mine would be like a dog. But like Jiro, so it'll wobble from side to side and knock things over.

Lupin is a hard one. He is very loyal, intelligent. Hmmm how about an elephant

Mine..hmm.. I have a strange affinity for lizards and jumping spiders..but I'd want something that was tough, not cute. Maybe mine would be that giant extinct moniter lizard from Australia. What's it called..Megalania? Something along those lines..

But then again, my parakeet's a runt and he's the dominant bird out of four 'cause he's the best at fighting. Maybe it would be him.
I can just picture it: Hundreds of dementors gliding away in sheer fright as a tiny little budgerigar flies sqawking after them.

I think yours would be a giraffe. They are all sweet and gentle.....and tall!

And clumsy! My family have decided that I'm a baby giraffe, because they're so wobbly and dizzy.
