Alex wrote in to Mugglenet saying he was basically hired as an extra so there's no certainty that he'll be back as a core actor in GoF.
He also sent them a photo of himself, It's believed he was used for the Photo of the Weasleys on the Egypt holiday.

I was thinking the same thing. I didn't picture him to look so, ummmmmmm... wimpy?!!! Oh well... he's got the red hair Weasley family look down pat!

Yeah, he looks too wimpy. I expected Charlie to look tan and weathered from handling dragons. He looks like the only dragons he would get near are in the Hobbit.

Calm down guys, if they want him to muscle up a bit there's plenty of time before shooting for GOF begins. I just hope he doesn't look as gormless when that time comes.

we know alex crockford. hes at our college. hes not exactly burly...hes more into fluffy purple bunnies then norwegian ridgebacks. however, itll be kinda cool to know someone whose in harry potter...so Alex for Charlie Weasly.

But I am willing to take criticism, even by people who have nothing better to do with their time than go on Harry Potter message boards, as long as you send in a photo of yourself to show me just what a lovely hunk of meat you are by comparison!

Out of curiousity: do you know when you'll be filming? It'll be interesting if you could let us know when you do! Bring sunshine to our otherwise... sunny days.

No offense to Alex, but I would really, really like to see Damian O'Hare as Charlie Weasley in GOF.

For those who don't know who Damian O'Hare is, he's a 27 year old Irish actor, he played Lt. Gillette in Pirates of the Carribbean. He's very cute (in my humble opinion) and would be perfect for the role of Charlie Weasley. Very, very hunky. I'm drooling just thinking about him.

Hard to tell that he has red hair in the black and white pictures, but he does! He's so very Charlie!
