What member of the Weasley family might die in the next book?

Rumor has it that a Weasley will die in book 6. Who will it be?

I'm going with Percy... just because he's the only one that I can stomach losing.

Yes. I would be happy if it were him. I have a feeling J.K. may bump off Errol just to throw us off. He is part of the family.

Do you think that if we say a daily chant... "Please let it be Percy" that it will be so? Is it possible for JKR to hear us and fall victim to our hearts?

Have you ever seen Saturday Night Live? They used to do this skit on deep thoughts, with Jack Smiley (or something like that). He would come up with some off the wall thoughts. Anyway.. kinda reminded me of that.

Sounds good I've seen that show a few times, but you know, we never had Saturday Night Live on saturday night (nor was it live), it was always like... 3am on a wednesday or something silly like that. I've probably only seen 3 or 4 episodes ever.

I used to watch Conan O'Brien religiously though, about 5 years ago that is.

Noooo! Not percy! i think that as much as you all wish he's dead now, you'll be sorry if that happens... and i also think it will happen...
What if he tries to spy on voldemort to redeem himself (and he just might do that)? Than we would all be sorry if he dies (and i think he would)... I really don't know why, but i like that guy.

I don't think that Voldemort would ever trust him though, would he? After all, he IS a Weasley. I guess he could claim that he's had it with his family, etc... and that he wants to strike out on his own and make a name for himself. Voldemort could take him in, and then, find out that he's betraying him, and kill Percy.

Deep thoughts. Percy as a spy, possible. Voldemort gets his new deatheaters by blackmail and deception. I could also see J.K. Rowling killing off one of the twins just to mess with us.

Grant, trust me, if I were J.K. I would be living in a much bigger house with a kick tushie computer-and I would really spin some wild senarios to get you wondering.

I wouldn't want one of the twins to be killed off. They are presented in the books as one character and one entity. If only one died, it would be just as bad as both dying, if not worse. Plus if they were bumped off, where would the comic relief come from?

Very true. We do need them. I don't want to loose one of them, but I just meant that J.K. may do that just to show that war is painful and cruel.

That's true... or, she could "off" Ron. You know... there is a chance that she's going to off just about anyone. I don't think that anyone, including Harry, is safe from death in this story. I just think that it's going to be bad... someone that's going to hurt us all, deeply.

I could be wrong, but I think the following have the highest chance of survival against Rowling's pen: Harry, Ron, Hermione and the twins. I might add Luna in there as she's a newbie and it would be a waste to kill her off so quickly, if it all.

Well, you just never know. I mean, in real life, the hero's do die. She could decide to follow that path. I hope that she doesn't, but I'm preparing myself should that thought become reality.
