what is your favorite knick knack or accesory

Decorating. What is your favorite knick knack or accessory? Mine is a stained glass fairy that I made. She is standing on leaves. She has a deep purple dress. Very pretty.

I think that it would have to be a framed painting that my nephew, Caleb, did when they were out here in May. He was 1 1/2 at the time, and it's just sooooo cute. So, I framed it and look at it all the time. I keep it in my office here at home.

I like scented candles around the house.

I don't have anything in particular that is a favorite because I'm the type of person that will get rid of something if I don't use it or if I change my mind about decorating.

I can't imagine a house without the warmth of candles though. I also like potpourri all over my house, mixed with eucalyptus. There is just something about the combination aroma that is soothing to me.

Love the candles too. Nothing like having some candles in the bathroom and taking a long hot bath, especially if you have a migraine. So soothing.

Oh yeah... candles are such a great thing to have around the house. They bring such a nice scent and give off a nice ambient light.

I love picking up new knick-knacks! I recently bought a wrought iron wall mount/candle holder. ($13 at Ross) I bought Sandlewood candles for it and lit or not, they gives the room a nice aroma.
I have 6 abstract paintings from a starving artist friend of mine that are awesome!
I also love my coffee table that I resusitated after the marble slabs in the top broke. I bought white lamenated pressboard from Home Depot, had them cut it to measurement, replaced the broken slabs, repainted the table frame black and painted tribal hyroglyphs on the new slabs. It's my prize piece.

I like my own floral designs. And call me materialistic but I love anything by lenox.
