Oh no Kris. You were probably just reading a book. Nothing wrong with that. I have missed out on many popular movies, I just can't think of the names of them now.

Actually, I didn't really pick up an interest in reading books until I was around the age of 20. So, since I was a teenager in the 80's, and saw WAY TOO MANY MOVIES and watched WAY TOO MUCH TV, I should have seen those movies.

I didn't see Gone With The Wind until my 21st birthday.

And, I could have seen, "To Kill A Mockingbird" while in high school, but I was too 'high' back then to notice or care. I slept through it in my english lit class.

Well, it was the 80's.

I love To Kill A Mockingbird, one of my all time favorite books AND movies... Gregory Peck was fantastic

I've never seen ... umm....................Purple Rain.....and I'm a prince fan (sort of)

Oh god... that movie, Purple Rain, has an embarressing story for me.
When it came out, I went to see it with a friend of mine. We were in 9th grade. So, we're sitting in the theatre and there's a girl about our age sitting in our row. She must have been in love with prince. She had picture buttons of him all over her clothes, and she was singing ALL the songs through the movie. At the end, when Prince sings "purple rain" she stood up and started singing it. She grabbed me and made me stand up with her! I could have died. I wanted to slyther outta that theatre so bad.

People were shocked that I had never watched a James Bond film. I saw one in high school just to shut my friends up, and it was dollar day.

I love James Bond That man is so cool. When kids were running around with spiderman or superman costumes, there was me in a tux with a dry martini

Hey, it's not even 11p.m. yet. I am a midnight type of girl, plus the two year old is really wired for some reason. Too much sleep in the car today-visiting grandmas.

I never saw the Twilight Zone Movie.

Really? thought it was later, sorry. I miss my grandmas sigh, well, hopefully can see them in February.

Oh, well, I was an avid Twilight Zone watcher, meaning I've seen more than 10 episodes ( ), I think it may be interesting

Hmmm.... then what haven't I seen.... Oh I didn't see Godfather III until recently... though it wasn't really worth it...

Alien Nation... Ahh... Who cares about that one, huh??

Never saw the original Cape Fear, and I don't think I've seen Hitchcock's Psycho either... Nor Ravens... Or Westside Story. Or Oklahoma... In fact, I've not seen a lot of the classics... I don't think I've seen any Fred Astaire movies, including White Christmas... I haven't seen all of Miracle on 34th Street. I can't sit through It's a Wonderful Life, so I've not seen all of it, and don't think I ever will, even though there's practically a marathon every christmas eve...

If anyone hasn't seen It's a Wonderful Life AT ALL, then you are the champion of this thread...

Oh, and here's a BIG shocker... I'm a guy in my mid-20's, very heterosexual and aware of Marilyn Munroe's impact on sex awareness in our society, but I've seen NARY A ONE of her movies....

That was an exceptionally great movie. I have the dvd and have watched it a few times already this year. I used to have a portable dvd player, and I would take it with my while flying. That was a good one to watch on a long flight.

Right, 1 and 2 are great............

But really... What was Mr. Coppola thinking?

Oh, apparently Sophia was a last minute subsititute... she wasn't supposed to be in the movie. Should've just deleted the character would've worked out better that way hehehe

Ive never seen Pretty Woman, which is another one they are stunned over.

Ill have to try and remember others....I know there are more out there I have yet to see.

I don't think that I want to see the Godfather movies on TNT.
It will be edited, etc... so, I will have to rent them, eventually.

Casablanca is great I think the ending is very brave for that day and time, but quite powerful

I'm still trying to think of something I haven't seen that is surprising My mum is a movie, music and book buff, so I got a good dose of all of those since I was young...

Oh I didn't see the newer version of Little Women... never saw the point since I'd already seen the one with Elizabeth Taylor.

Well, I don't know the correct spelling of phaclempt... but, did you watch Saturday Night Live? When Mike Myers was on there? He would play a jewish lady, and do Coffee Talk. He (she) would get phaclempt whenever something happened that was emotional, and he couldn't talk.

Like his character loved Barbra Streistand (or however the hell you spell her name) and when she showed up on the set, his lady got phaclempt!!!)

I guess that you had to see it...


Anyway... GO TO THE NEAREST VIDEO RENTAL STORE AND GET THE ORIGINAL THREE STAR WARS MOVIES. Come back here and report to me when you've watched them, and we will talk about forgiving you.

Mystic... No, Luke doesn't find out who his father is in "Star Wars: A New Hope." He doesn't find out until "The Empire Strikes Back," near the end, when he's fighting Darth Vader.

You DO know the the original Star Wars trilogy is actually movies 4, 5, and 6 right? The newer ones are 1, 2 and 3. We "Star Wars" fans, are currently awaiting the 3rd movie, in 2005. Anyway, get the original trilogy, watch them, and come back and talk to us. We might consider NOT lynching you IF, and ONLY IF you do this. Oh yeah, and rent Indiana Jones... all three also.

Ummmmmm... Princess Leia isn't even born yet. I can't say anymore, or it will ruin Return of the Jedi, which is, in reality, the 6th movie. Anyway, just rent the original three Star Wars...

I am so ashamed to say I have not seen many of the movies you guys have posted, although I have seen Little Women, all the Star Wars and all the Indiana Jones and James Bond fillms.

I have not seen a lot of the "classics" you listed including the Sound of Music, which is odd coz I don't mind a musical now and then (although I haven't seen the new Chicago yet)

I recently shocked some people because they were talking about how the recent Freddie vs Jason movie doesn't make sense and I told them I didn't know coz I had not seen ANY of the previous Freddie OR Jason movies. I also have not seen the "Chucky" movie (Child's play? I think it is called) which ppl think is odd.

No, Natalie Portman plays Padmé Amidala. She is the one who ends up in love with Anakin Skywalker, who becomes Darth Vader. She is the mother of Luke Skywalker, and that's all that I will tell you about that.

schmiggens, I don't think it's odd to have never seen a nightmare on elm street movie, since you live in Australia. I know the last time they played one of the movies on TV was in 1996, when the showed number 5, and before that it was probably around 1991 or 92, when they showed a marathon of 1 - 3 starting around 11pm or something... And it's not surprising you never went out to grab the videos. I didn't see them all until about 2 or 3 years ago was too chicken. Now I love them.

I loved All Of Me... with Lily Tomlin. Where they switched bodies. That was a good movie. I laughed throughout the entire thing!

That's the one, I liked it a lot too. Haven't seen it in like 7 years though.

I liked Roxanne, didn't you Gaboman? Also, Sgt. Bilko was good. And I have to say that my PERSONAL all-time favorite Steve Martin movie is The Three Amigos.

Can't go wrong making a silly comedy movie when you cast Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, and Martin Short as the leading character roles...
