I just bought the CD last night and have all ready listened to it numerous times. I overall enjoyed the CD. He has a great voice and I cannot wait for his next CD/Single--anything!

I love American Idol and I watch it religously. Naturally I was bummed when Clay didn't win but he will always be a winner to his real fans!

The songs he chose for his CD were amazing and he sung them all well-I was hoping for a song or two that were a little more upbeat. He still did amazing though and I will strongly recommend this CD to anyone and everyone who will listen to me!

By the way, does Clay Aiken have an official fan club? I would love to join..hell I would even be responsible for it if needed!

Go Clay--can't wait for more Clay!!

I don't think that Clay really had any say into what songs went on the album. I'm sure that the producers picked them, and said that these were the ones that he should do.

Clay has an AMAZING voice. I would love to see him do some Broadway shows. I would support him, 100%. I would LOVE to hear him sing something from Phantom of the Opera. I bet that he would sound great.

As for a fan club... I did a web search and I only found sites that were put out there by other fans. Doesn't seem to be anything official, as of yet. Guess that you will have to wait and see.

I will have to get a copy of his cd and listen to it. I hear that it's really good... and you gave it so there's another good review. It's the fans that count... not the critics.

i think Measure of a Man is the greatest CD ever........ok, well my opinion is just a tiny bit biased. ummm.......am i kidding myself? it's totally the opinion of a freak!! i'm a scary, rabid clay fan!!! Clay is such a great singer!!!!! even people who aren't totally obsessed with him (or maybe even a bit jealous) will admit he sings like no one else (ex: my boyfriend)!!!! omg! clay is just so great! i'm so proud of him! he's so cute and he has a amazing amazing voice!!!!!

In an interview Clay mentioned that he was allowed artists' liberty in changing some of the words in 'Invisible'; he feels that it is a 'pretty' song but; with his religious beliefs he had to change a stanza. I got the impression that the songs were picked for him and he 'made them his own' by the way he sang them.
I really think the CD is fantastic and, I too, cannot wait for his next one.

i wonder what that extra part of Invisible was........clay sang touch, which was about stuff I'd thought he'd be against, if you listen closely.

The part he changed (he said in his interview when speaking of Invisible) was that 'he would make love to her' . He changed the wording around.

what part of the song was that in???

I heard he took that out of "Measure of a Man" not "Invisible"? There was a verse, something about if I made love to you is that how you measure a man? Or something like that.

I love Clay

I bought two cd's for me, one for home, one for work. Have never done that in my WHOLE LIFE!!

I think he walked a fine line. They picked all his songs, and sounds like he changed some that bothered him. However you can't make everything a battle, so he only changed the really important stuff. He readily admits he knows nothing about love, etc in the interview with Billboard.

We know that the girl that Clay finally finds true love with will be a very special lady. She would have to be to turn his head. He is so mature and 'level headed'; he isn't the kind who 'falls in love' he has to know the person. Look how long he has been able to maintain a platonic relationship with Kimberley Locke.
There has to be more men out there like Clay.........I just don't know where. I guess they all must be going to college in Charlotte; right? (
