| Posted by: fuscia | | I love pumpkin seeds. I was wondering how other people make them. I clean them under running water, dry them overnight, then sprinkle with salt, or garlic salt, and roast. Please tell me if I am doing it wrong. | | Reply To this Message

I rinse mine off, and sometimes I will let them dry overnight. Sometimes not. I put salt all over them (and that's about the ONLY time that I will use salt... not a salt person) and bake 'em.
On man... I love 'em, right out of the oven, pipping hot!!! I can't wait! | | Reply To this Message

If I can't wait for them to dry, I put them in the oven on low and speed dry them, then roast them.
These are a good treat for our birds too, but they can't have the salt so they have to get a different batch. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Lawless | | Tell me about it. We usually bake some at mom's on Halloween, but she was out of town for a month, and got back the day before. We just didn't even think about it.
Maybe the stores will still have some pumpkins and I can make some!!! Hmmmm | | Reply To this Message
