Hagrid and the Giants

Book 5: HP & the Order of the Phoenix Forum

Hagrid is part giant. Voldemort is trying to recruit the giants to his side. Other than sheer strength, what do they have to offer?
They can kill muggles, but what can they do against wizards. They don't have wands do they?

Well, I guess that they are used for sheer strength.
The giants don't seem to have a good intelligence.
Voldemort has a great intelligence, and using the giants give him brute strength on the front lines without having to waste his death eaters.

Wasn't there something about Voldemort giving them more freedom than the wizards or was that for the dementors?

I'm not sure... I would have to go back and do a lot of reading.
And, I've taken my stuff out of storage, so now I have all of my HP books at home. When I start rereading, and come across that, I will let you know.

Hagrid wants a ladyfriend for Grawp. Well, I'll wager that Madame Hooch might like the job. Just think of Young Frankenstein.

Hey, this is just me. Nice, but with an evil streak. Ron says I am cunning, so the sorting hat would have to think it over with me.

Hmmmmmm... I'm not sure if you WOULD be in Gryffindor.
I will have to consult that hat of mine, and let you know what I find out.
