It seems to me that every era has its sex symbol. For instance in the 1950s, the most popular sex symbol was Marilyn Monroe. In the 1920s, the most popular sex symbol of movies was a Dutch actress named Asta Nielsen and in the 1930, a woman named Pola Negri was noted as being an unusual sex symbol for her attractiveness and wit.
I wonder who would be considered a sex symbol tomorrow? I think either Angelina Jolie, Keira Knightly or Catherine Zeta-Jones might be considered sex symbols in the near future if they stay in the limelight long enough.
