I liked Stu Redman the best.

Trashcan man was cool when he torched all those oil derricks.

The walkin dude was a good bad guy.

I liked the book cause King made you feel like the world really did die, and these people were all that was left.

It also had a good ending. And I like nukes.

God made an appearance.

A cool cool book.

Stu was the bomb! Absolutely loved him...

Larry Underwood was awesome. I loved how he went from being this cocky jerk, to completely changing to a wonderful, loving, kind man. And, he believed in the end.

Harold got kind of cool, after he leaned up. They called him Hawk.

Poor misguided fool.

What was the professors name?

Oh yeah, the deaf guy, he was the best, I always forget about him. He hung out with the retard.

M-O-O-N, that spells Tom (Collins?)

Cant' remember his last name, I think it was collins.

The deaf guy, Cant remember his name right now. Rob Lowe played him in the movie.

Which the movie was kinda lamo.

My father was inside the hotel during the filming in the street in Las Vegas... the spectacular ending. He was up in the midding of the night, looking down at the shooting.

Rob Lowe played Nick Andros (the deaf guy)

Tom's last name was Cullen

The professor was Glen Bateman, I believe.

Stu was my favorite, Nick was my second fav. Sucks about the way he died though. Fkn Harold.

Okay, so the Stand is on my best books list. I loved the way King just kept going. There was no shortening of really anything (which is why the book is over 1100 pages), so you really got to witness characters slowly changing. Harold went evil. Natalie? went totally crazy. Awesome story.

One of my favorite parts is when you read the dialouge over the police radio. Good stuff.

Kevin: Remember that one time when I ate those napkins?
Me: (laughing) Yeah.
Kevin: That was funny. Do you remember what made me do it?
Me: I'm pretty sure you just said, "Hey, watch me eat these napkins".
Kevin: (laughing) Yeah, that sounds about right.

I loved that about the book too, Matt. There was so much detail to it, and it wasn't short.

Yes, I just purchased it, once again. I had it, from years ago, but someone borrowed it, and I never got it back. I just haven't picked it up to read yet.

Nick Andros and Stu Redman were my favorite characters. I was sooo sad when Nick died. Stu was just a stand up guy.

King really did make you feel like the world had ended. Frannies diary for the baby was especially good at pointing out things that would never be again.

Nadine was the one I hated. She got what she wanted, and she paid the price.

I liked the way Harold ended by writing the note that he did.

I liked how Trashcan man fit in with his new friends and was experiencing group cohesion for the first time, but the guy was so messed up mentally, he couldn't help but blow up all the dark mans planes.

So, he goes and gets the Dark Man a nuke to make up for it.
